Alt. Format XY-On Miltank / Crobat

I am interested in building this deck as well. I have tested both the conventional evolution route and the Archie's route, and I am not totally satisfied with either approach. However, I have found that the evolution strategy is, overall, more consistent in getting Greninja out.

Article Deck Design 101- A Guide to Deck Building!

Great article. Once Ancient Origins comes out, this deck has access to Giant Plant Forest. It will allow us to evolve Heracross EX in its first turn in play. If we go first, since we cannot attack anyway, what better way to end the turn than by evolving our main attacker? Awesome. What do you...

Article Take a Bite With Crobat/Wobbuffet!

I agree that LTC was important for this deck, but I wonder if you think if its loss make this deck no longer viable. Have tested it without LTC?

Standard Team Magma's Camerupt / Camerupt EX

Why not use Scorched Earth/Acro Bike instead of Battle Compressor? i.e., use the full 4 Scorched Earth? You are worried about the item lock, and Scorched Earth gets around that, puts energy into the discard, and gets you two cards.

Standard Gengar EX / Wobbuffet / Crobat

So I built this deck and realized that I was 3 cards over the limit! I have tried thinning it down myself, but I cannot seem to make the painful decisions. I am also greedy and would like to include, somehow, a Safeguard Sigilyph, 2 more draw Supporters, and a Teammates! Help! Pokémon: 4 x...

Article Take a Bite With Crobat/Wobbuffet!

To my earlier comment, what is the answer this deck has for Rough Seas? Any ideas?

Do you have a deck listing anywhere, by chance?

Article Take a Bite With Crobat/Wobbuffet!

Ha, I built this deck recently and am destroying with it. I run, however, two Gengar Ex instead of two Miltank. Dark Corridor, which deals 60 and inflicts Poison, switches Gengar Ex from the active spot to the bench. I find this to be a fantastic setup for Wobbuffet, constantly keeping him in...

    Team Magma Aggron / Camerupt

I have researched this further and found that variants of this deck have been developed, but none seem to make use of Double Magma Energy. I wonder why - surely, discarding Double Magma Energy for Aggron's Rock Stamp is better than merely discarding a Fighting Energy. I also that others have...

    Ruling Wonder Energy and Nightshade

I could have chosen other attacks besides Gengar EX's Nightshade (e.g., Medicham's Pure Power), but it suffices as an example. Do cards like Wonder Energy nullify the effect of attacks like Nightshade? The description provided in Wonder Energy does not rule out damage, but the effect of...

    Swampert / Milotic

Hi, TuxedoBlack. I am going to post a new thread - this one got off to a bad start because the OP was not too strong. Standby for that.

    Swampert / Milotic

I built a Medicham deck for my first deck, and now I am returning to my original idea. I definitely need more criticism for this deck. This is what I have so far for this deck: Pokemon: 4 - 2 - 4 Swampert (PCL) 3 - 3 Milotic (FLF) 1 Miltoic (PCL) 3 Manaphy (PCL) Trainers: 4 Rough Seas 4 Dive...

Ruling Omega Barrage and Focus Sash

Note the conditions for Focus Sash's effect: the Pokemon it is attached to must have full health, and the damage incurred from the incoming attack must knock it out. What I am wondering is if the first attack from a Omega Barrage Pokemon violates the first condition.

Ruling Omega Barrage and Focus Sash

Take Ancient Trait Medicham. It is battling against a Pokemon with Focus Sash. Yoga Kick, on its own, would not OHKO the opponent's Pokemon, but two Yoga Kicks would. Does Focus Sash still save it, or is its effect nullified by the first Yoga Kick?

    Pincer Lock (Gliscor / Crawdaunt)

I may be confused on the reading of Gliscor's Submission Hold. I thought that the 'Defending Pokemon' is the Pokemon receiving damage. But what if the opponent switches the 'Defending Pokemon' with one on the bench? Kind of undermines the strat, no?

Medicham / Hawlucha / Landorus EX

RE: Medicham / Hawlucha / Landorus It seems the above user has been banned, but I wanted to ask how Focus Sash can be used effectively when the only reason to use Focus Sash disappears once Medicham takes damage. I love the Medicham deck. But it has trouble against Mega and Primal card. The...

    Dimension Valley and Starmie

RE: Dimension Valley + Starmie? Of course, why not? But how often do you face an opponent with an active Pokémon that has no energy. I suppose you could Lysandre a benched Pokémon and use Starmie to deal a nice 70 damage. Not a bad strategy, but limited. Are there are scenarios, cards...

    Dimension Valley and Starmie

Starmie (Primal Clash) is a strange card. I like strange cards. It's only attack is Synchro Attack, which has a damage base of 10 plus 60 more damage if Starmie and the opponent's active Pokémon have the same number of energy attached to them. With Dimension Valley, Synchro Attack is a free...
