Strategy:

Regular Yveltal/Garbo/Frogs strategy. My main problem IS I wanna fit in a second Babytal and dunno what to take out

IMO with 2 Bicycle, 2 Colress, 4 N, and 4 PJ, you have a strong enough card draw engine that is quite sufficient and good enough to afford you replacing Jirachi EX with Yveltal. Besides, Jirachi EX is a huge 2-prize, bench-warming target and not used (hopefully) too often.

This list is strikingly similar to the list I had been playing. I think the only differences between our lists is that I found room for Startling Megaphone, a 3rd Bike, and a VS Seeker. I'm not sure how you would squeeze in another Yveltal, but I'm not sure you even need one. I did just find with only one.

Sure thing! This should be pretty close to my list if not exactly:

Pokemon: (11)

  • 3 Yveltal EX
    2 Seismitoad EX
    2 Garbodor
    2 Trubbish
    1 Darkrai EX
    1 Yveltal
Trainers N' Stuff: (37)

  • 4 Professor Juniper
    4 N
    2 Colress
    2 Lysandre

    4 Hypnotoxic Laser
    4 Muscle Band
    4 Ultra Ball
    3 Bicycle
    3 Float Stone
    1 Professor's Letter
    1 Startling Megaphone
    1 Switch
    1 VS Seeker
    1 Computer Search

    2 Virbank City Gym
Energy: (12)

  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
    8 Darkness Energy

I think the biggest problem is that, as you can see, it doesn't include Energy Switch. I wanted to try to find room for it, but I didn't want to cut Ultra Ball. And then I switch decks, so I never actually got around to figuring that out.

HUM... I am not running VS Seeker cuz' our regionals this Saturday will be without Phantom Forces

Without VS Seeker, I probably would have cut it and the 4th Ultra Ball to make room for Energy Switch. I like playing 4 Ultra Ball, even though it's not exactly "necessary", but I do feel like this deck should play Energy Switch. Two seems to be appropriate given it's not the speed focused variant without Garbodor, and everyone else I've seen play the deck agrees.

Yup. My two team mates keep insisting that I take the Jirachi, but, honestly, he gives so much consistency

I like Jirachi a lot. I understand that it gives up two easy prizes, but when weighing that against the huge boost in consistency, in some games it is definitely worth it. It's also nice to be able to grab really important Lysandres, and I suppose of you decide to play those random tech Supporters like Xerosic, it could be useful for that too. The bigger issue I've had with Jirachi is the potential to start the game with it, but with the "new" best of three format, it's not as big of a deal as it was before that was implemented. I'm still playing around with it, but I think I like it a lot in general. If you like it, and it works for you, then keep playing it.

When I tested the deck without it, I would end up fizzling a lot, but with it, it works wonders. I'm still "rusty" after quitting TCG after last year's Nationals where I placed 7th cuz of personal matters
