Ruling WP Vs. Gallade?

Holon enegy WP says

If the pokemon Holon Energy WP is attatched to also has a basic water energy card attached to it, prevent all efects of an attack excluding damage, done to that Pokemon by your oponents Pokemon.

Doesn't this mean that Gallade still puts the damage to fifty but they don't switch back?

Using an attack to put damage counters on a Pokemon counts as an effect of an attack, so not only will your guy not be affected by the switching part of Sonic Blade, they will also be immune to the first part, too.

In other words, Holon WP blocks Sonic Blade completely.
