Will celebi prime and garchomp c lvx go good together

A Luxray GL LV.X gets a OHKO on Celebi, though, unlike Uxie/Azelf (Crobat G being an exception). That's a big difference.

^You have to flip a coin for Energy Pickup, and Vileplume prevents its play, so I reeeeeeally doubt that.

^ But if you are facing Vilegar your Celebi is getting one shotted by a shadow room anyway so it doesn't really matter which one you run for that match-up as it is either give up a prize to attach an energy or possibly get to flip a coin at some point.

I find this extremely difficult to get six Prizes doing a maximum of 80 damage when you attack against pretty much anything not named SP. For that reason, the deck fails IMO.

Funny rogue League deck though. You can definitely get a lot of people laughing atwith you.

dmaster out.

Can you stop being so negative? All he wants to know is if the combo would work. I strongly have to agree with EvilHamster.

This is why good ideas die early.
Exactly. Because everyone told him it was bad. Not every deck is made to outspeed LuxChomp, because, honestly, that's very few decks. Even VileGar usually doesn't outspeed SP, and yet it's still a deck that's widely used. We need to give decks more of a chance, otherwise, no new, amazing decks will come to be. LuxChomp was (I believe) a take on BlazeRay, popular at Cities last year. I wonder who told them that was a bad idea. o_O

And there's my rant for today. =P

On to the combo itself, it's viable. You'd need some other Energy acceleration. Maybe Leafeon Lv.X? Now that I think about it, that would be great. Two energy onto Garchomp C Lv.X, and 80 snipe away. Expert Belt could be used to add damage to the active (addressing dmaster's comment) and Snowpoint Temple to boost both Celebi Prime's HP and Garchomp C Lv.X.

And yes, lots of Grass Energy.

Um, rather than arguing about it, we should TEST it. The theorymon may sound amazing or terrible, but if it fails in application, what is the point about arguing it? I believe that this deck could very well work out. You definitely have a gimmick... and most players don't love gimmicks. There are a few problems presented, however. You need to be switching and warping/turning back in every turn. This does not present so much of a problem, in theory, but it can become very bothersome. The big problem is going to be always having either a DCE or a grass and something else in your hand at one time. The ability to 1shot-1kill is going to be rather difficult as well. This deck will have a very hard time against most SP where they only give 3-4 prizes to your attacks... you'll have to earn the other 2-3. Once your Celebi is eaten up, you will def need to get another one. You will also need a few Aarons for energy and chomp return... which is really annoying to think about, but it is very very true. I doubt I'll be seeing this deck in the top tables at most of the cities I go to, but it will, if worked out, be a contender for the cities it is at. Just be sure to massively test it and find some logical (nonMewtwo) way to deal with SP. I say nonMewtwo because Mewtwo does not fix this deck's problems in any way... before people ask :)
