Wednesday, 1/10, Pokemon Rules, Website Layout

Hello, hello! This is my first post here, but anyway...

It seems that the formatting of the site is indeed a bit messed up when viewed with IE. There's too much spacing, as you said, so below are two screenshots. The first is the site viewed from Firefox 2.0.0.1, for comparative purposes, and the second is from IE 7.0.5730.11, all in lovely JPEG format.

Anyway, why can't you just look at the site from IE yourself? You don't seem to have access to Safari, so you're not on a Mac. Linux, perhaps?

Oh, and I'm guessing this is the University of Southern California, based on the application deadlines between that and the University of South Carolina?

I'm also going through the application bull--...business. Man, I hate deadlines! I don't like to do things, so I keep finding myself with things due tomorrow...or last week...It's not fun. :(

Sweet I know mario would beat pokemon by a bit because it is the icon of nintendo.:)

Here's a screen of the main page in IE.

Lineage? Sounds vaguely familier at best. And it does look like Pokemon's bound to beat out Mario any day now. As great as that is, I'm kinda weary about Pokemon being number ONE, even above Mario. That just seems weird.

But I guess it shows kids (Pokemon's target demographic) sell much more games than... older kids.

Yes, the spacing is rather large, my IE has the same spacing as on the other IE screenshots.
BTW, WPM, can't you download IE yourself, just to check every now and then?

Also, it's nice to see Pokémon selling more then 3 times as much as GTA and to see that Nintendo's best creations are at the top of the list, far above #3.
I do see Pokémon beating Mario in a year or 2, becoming the #1 Best-Selling Game Franchise of All Time. O_O

I finally have a purpose...

There's mine, give credit if used (To the webmaster):p

well, i cant get a screenshot but in IE it seems as if the wording in the panels have been shrunk, kinda hard to read.

I agree with Porygon, it seems that games more acsessable to children made it further up...but Mortal Kombat still skimmed by!!! SubZero all the way!!! Freeze< ~* I have never heard of Linage though:(

I can't believe Mario gets more popular than pokemon so MUCH.

Mario has been the icon for nintendo since the early 80's and it is their number 1 hit otherwise pokemon would be in first place.:)

Well, Mario has been around for a very long time now so I guess it's just natural that the  Mario games that sold for at least 2 decades now have been piled up from the very beginning since it was released, making him the top seller icon of Nintendo and other games  behind it....
Other than that, I believe Pokemon WILL surpass that record in at least a decade from now, I hope....

Mario has been a hit since the days of the donkey kong acade game opened up in a bar in california and it was so populat that the quarters were jammed in the coin box and when they opened it the box exploded with quarters all over the floor and they said it was a hit so then nintendo was developed after atari died.:)
