Hello, Mr.N00b! You may be a n00b now, but, if you read Senor Noobnerd's newbie guide stated right here , and read the following guide, you'll be a well-known member before you know it!

Step 1: Simple Acronym's:

Lol= Laugh out Loud
OMG= Oh, my gosh
IDK= I don't know
IDC= I don't care
IIRC= If I remember correctly
: ) = :)
: P = :p
: D= :D
: F = (Note, Cute-mew brought us this smiley. It is supposed to make posts seem funny. Its a buck-toothed person.)
: ( = :(
=/ = =/ or Person in a regular mood or depressed
0_o = Surprised person
-_- = Regular person

N00by language and "what are n00bs?"

N00by language: (Note: Never use this language. It is NOT correct grammer/spelling. This is just so you can decipher it when someone incorrectly uses it.

OMG!Amodjustlockedmythreadiamsopissd.
= Oh, no! A mod locked my thread. I am very angry because of that.

Lol.Thisdecksucksyousuckyouraidiotyoucan'tplay.
= This deck could be improved, and you don't seem very clear on the rules. Would you like some help?

Thisteamsuuuuuuucks.IveseenbetterteamsfromR/B/Yyou****
= This team isn't very good. You need more walls or special sweepers. Many teams can beat this, unless you have a good stratagy.

If you see any more offensive/ mean posts like these, just report them. Its better not to make fun of/ ridicule them. It can provoke flame wars.

What are n00bs?

N00bs are people who just joined pokebeach or who are new to the game. N00bs use improper spelling/grammer, they are rude to others, and they make redundant judgements, like, "Take out Empoleon for another water energy", or, "Alakazam isn't NEARLY as good as Ariados". Get the point? Also, n00bs make short posts, don't follow the rules, and are just new or n00bs at what they do.

So, am I a n00b?

Well, if you follow my advice, no, you're probably not a n00b. Make sure that you post long, intelligent posts, and if you run out of things to say, that's fine. As long as YOU think you've gotten you're point across.

I hope you've enjoyed my guide. Stickey if you want, or lock if you think. Thank you!

You forgot the ] in your link and also forgot to put :D at the smilies..

Umm, is there really a purpose of this thread? These short forms can be learned easily. Anyway, why would you want to translate examples of noob languages? IMO, we should accept noobs as noobs and then teach them the ways of the forums, etc. =] Why do we need to separate them from the community if we can always teach them? By doing this, it wouldn't only be good for him or her for the forums, but it helps in life as well. =]

... Pory started ":F", to him, it's a bucktooth, to me, it's drool.
Don't just call people noobs.
This guide is far too incomplete.
That's all the smileys you know?

If you're trying to act important by trying to make a stick-able thread, you failed, sorry. Do some more research and maybe it'll get stickied. I also don't think a guide like this is needed, as everything stated there is far beyond obvious, my grandma knows this stuff...

All this stuff and smiley's can be found when you are posting or creating a new thread/topic. So, posting this might be considered as a mere reminder. =] Follow what cute-mew adviced, "Don't just call people noobs." =]

Well put Armaldo. Hwever, I have to argue your point.

This thread is for n00bs who are new to internet forums. They might not know smiley's like :D :) or :p. Also, for REAL n00bs, who say things that I said above.

Also, I was't aiming for a stick-able thread. Just a regular one.

This is for noobs to learn how noobs act?
Oh, yes, very smart :)

Well, this thread is useless, and instead of trying to teach people noob-leet, tell the people using it to not use it.
