Waiting Time for Pokemon Professor Application Status?

So, I just retook the professor test after nearly 5yrs, and I passed ... I think? I am pretty confident that all my answers were right, and I just got the message:

Professor Program Application Complete
Thank you for applying for the Professor Program. You will be notified of the status of your application shortly.

How long does it usually take to get confirmation back on your application? I ask because I am very anxious to get back into the community helping out with our local community, and judging, something that I used to love to do.

It can take a while - up to a couple months, give or take. They're slammed right now because of Pokemon GO requests, so get ready to be patient and wait things out while hoping for a quicker turnaround :)
