• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Strategy:

Standard Vespiquen deck with Eevolutions. Flareon PLF for an additional attacker while Flareon AOR allows Blacksmith to work on Vespiquen as well. Jolteon AOR for electric weakness.

I've been playing this deck online a bunch. I know its not going to be standard legal. Any thoughts on how this deck can survive the actual rotation? Aside from changing Juniper for Sycamore and stuff. N will probably have to be a birch or ace trainer. Maybe drop comp search for another pokemon, Vaporeon if need be.

I have been contemplating Fortress, being that it hits for a different weakness, evolves turn 1, drops damage counters, but is also weak to fire.

Thoughts?

In preparing for the rotation, following are some suggested changes:

Jirachi EX => Shaymin EX or Professor Birch's Observations
N => Professor Birch's Observations
Computer Search => Trainer's Mail or Professor Birch's Observations

Imo, incorporating Fortress really does not provide any incremental value, but it would be somewhat of a distraction and just "slow" your deck down.
