hi, i like to know all abt is card venomoth form sw. because my friend is not happy that such attack able to get thur his venomoth..ok here goes...

Could you use example so that my friend and myself understand better. you use the Pokémon that i put after the LIke.

Firstly it poke-Body-- Dangerous scales
If venomoth is your active Pokémon and is damaged by an opponent's attack (even if venomoth is knocked out), the Attacking Pokémon is now Asleep and poisoned.

+Question is, what will trigger the poke-body?
-Do placing a damage counter on venomoth by using poke-power trigger Dangerous Scale?
Like: Ampharos's POke-body Jamming or Flygon' poke-body Irritating Buzz

-Do Dangerous Scale is trigger when it is been affected by Special Condition by using Poke-Power not by an Attack?
Like: Venusaur' poke-Power Miracle Aroma

-Do Dangerous Scale is been pass down next Pokémon replace the Defending Pokémon?
Like: Venomoth SW attack Gengar SF and KO, Gengar's Fainting Spell is activated and KO Venomoth, so do Dangerous Scale is been activated to next Defending Pokémon?
Do it do same thing when Electrode attack use Ion Blast, 100 damages to Venomoth?

Secondly it Attack---{G}{G} Disturbance Dive 50
Prevent all effect of an attack, excluding damage, done to Vemoth during your oppnent's next turn

+Question is, What will not be prevented by this Attack?
-Do an effect of attack prevent when it not directed to Venomoth?
Like: Nidoking's Poison Rub, Gengar's Shadow Dance, Dusclops' Gravity Wave

-Do an effect of attacking Pokémon attack be prevented if not directed to Venomoth instead is use to heal is own self or it is to remove Energy form itself?
Like: Venusaur's Giant Bloom, Electivire's Discharge

- When it say excluding damage, do an effect of attack that is to be added/ subtracted from the original Damage is still been done to Venomoth?
Like:Banette's Spiteful Pain, Golem's Megaton Rock, Carnivine's Swallow Up

I hope that u guy can explain it detail and example so as to enlighten my friend and me.
In advance I to apologize if cost alot of trouble and same time I apprise that you are able answer all my questions.
Thank you

Alright then. Let's go.

If you read the body, it gives you two conditions for it to work. First, it only activates when your opponent attacks. Second, it needs to take damage from that attack.
-Do placing a damage counter on venomoth by using poke-power trigger Dangerous Scale?
Like: Ampharos's POke-body Jamming or Flygon' poke-body Irritating Buzz
IT DOES NOT for two reasons: first, Jamming and Irritating Buzz are BODIES, NOT ATTACKS, and thus do not meet the requirement. Seconldy, they merely place damage counters, which is an effect. Do not confuse dealing damage with placing damage counters. The two are different things.

-Do Dangerous Scale is trigger when it is been affected by Special Condition by using Poke-Power not by an Attack?
Like: Venusaur' poke-Power Miracle Aroma
It's not an attack so the body does not activate.

-Do Dangerous Scale is been pass down next Pokémon replace the Defending Pokémon?
No.
Like: Venomoth SW attack Gengar SF and KO, Gengar's Fainting Spell is activated and KO Venomoth, so do Dangerous Scale is been activated to next Defending Pokémon?
No damage was done to Venemoth, so it does not.
Do it do same thing when Electrode attack use Ion Blast, 100 damages to Venomoth?
No. Venemoth's body target the attacking Pokemon AND ONLY the attacking Pokemon. Since Electrode KOs itself, nothing else happens.

Shadow Dance and Gravity Wave are not affecting Venemoth in any way, and thus is not prevented by Disturbance Wave. However (since Lou gladly reminded me), Poison Rub's effect is prevented since its effect targets Venemoth by switching it with another Pokemon (thus affecting Venemoth).

-Do an effect of attacking Pokémon attack be prevented if not directed to Venomoth instead is use to heal is own self or it is to remove Energy form itself?
Like: Venusaur's Giant Bloom, Electivire's Discharge
Again, they're not directed at Venemoth and thus is not prevented.

- When it say excluding damage, do an effect of attack that is to be added/ subtracted from the original Damage is still been done to Venomoth?
Like:Banette's Spiteful Pain, Golem's Megaton Rock, Carnivine's Swallow Up
No. These attacks add further damage, which are not prevented by Disturbance wave.

I hope that u guy can explain it detail and example so as to enlighten my friend and me.
In advance I to apologize if cost alot of trouble and same time I apprise that you are able answer all my questions.

No, placing damage counters (That is NEVER actual damage) will never activate Venomoth's body. Only pure actual damage will. An attack saying "60 damage" will, but an attack saying "Put 6 damage counters" will not. Pokepowers/bodies never work.

-Do Dangerous Scale is trigger when it is been affected by Special Condition by using Poke-Power not by an Attack?
Like: Venusaur' poke-Power Miracle Aroma

Refer to the above. Powers do not work. Also, if an attack doesn't deal damage but only puts a status effect on Venomoth, it won't work.

No. Basically, only the attacking Pokemon itself can get Dangerous Scale'd. If the attacker leaves the active spot, it won't do anything.

+Question is, What will not be prevented by this Attack?
-Do an effect of attack prevent when it not directed to Venomoth?
Like: Nidoking's Poison Rub, Gengar's Shadow Dance, Dusclops' Gravity Wave

It only protects Venomoth. Worthy of notice is that this also protects Venomoth from being swapped out, therefore cancelling any attacks that let your opponent pick a Pokemon from your bench. Anything that isnt pure damage will be stopped.

-Do an effect of attacking Pokémon attack be prevented if not directed to Venomoth instead is use to heal is own self or it is to remove Energy form itself?
Like: Venusaur's Giant Bloom, Electivire's Discharge

No. Only effects done to VENOMOTH will be prevented. Self-healing/discarding from self/attaching to self/anything in that vein will not be stopped.

- When it say excluding damage, do an effect of attack that is to be added/ subtracted from the original Damage is still been done to Venomoth?
Like:Banette's Spiteful Pain, Golem's Megaton Rock, Carnivine's Swallow Up

Adding up damage is the damage calculation itself. The final number of that calculation is counted as being pure damage. This means that any variable damage will not be prevented since its not an effect of an attack in this case, its just part of damage calculation.

Whew.
