Ruling Umbreon UD and Gengar SF

If my oppenent uses Moonlight Fang during his turn and knocks out my Gengar SF, and I use Fainting Spell and get heads, does my oppenent's pokemon still get knocked out?

Moonlight Fang: 30 damage. Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokemon by your opponent’s Pokemon with any Poke-Powers or Poke-Bodies during your opponent’s next turn.


Fainting Spell: Once during your oppenents turn, if Gengar would be knocked out by damage from a attack, you may flip a coin. If heads if heads the defending pokemon is knocked out.

You are still knocked out, because fainting spell is an ability, not an attack.

That, and Moonlight Fang starts at the beginning of the owner's opponent's next turn. Fainting Spell happens before that.
