Hello everyone! I’m Natalie Millar, and it’s a pleasure to make my debut on PokeBeach. I’m from Australia and have been playing Pokemon for the past 10 years. I’ve played at the World Championships 3 times, with an automatic Day 2 invite in 2022 and 2023.

For my first article, I thought that I would talk for a bit about my favorite deck that seems well positioned in the upcoming format, Gardevoir ex. Gardevoir ex has been a top-tier pick ever since Tord Reklev took it to 2nd place at the European International Championships. That version of Gardevoir ex features four copies of Kirlia and uses Zacian V as its main attacker, along with 12 copies...

This concludes the public portion of th- uh, I mean, welcome to PokeBeach Natalie!! Great to have a fresh new writer, what made you want to write articles for this site?
Looking forward to more reports from you!

Bro this site gonna be super smash bros cause they really be letting anyone write for them ? ( not in a bad way)

I recognized you from your articles on TCGPlayer, because they were very competent and genuine.

it's problem is it can't really win a regional well enough but can get to 2nd place

I think Natalie forgot about Scream Tail. It's a way better attacker than Driffloon since Ancient Booster Energy Capsule is a thing, and it can swing for bench damage. I run it online and it works way better. Also, having the 90 HP allows you to do good damage (160 max) even without ABEC attached.

From what I gather from online tourney results, not many people are playing ABEC in Gardy and instead are playing Luxurious Cape as their HP boosting tool. Part of this may be that giving up an additional prize doesn't matter if you're using it to make your last attack of the game do enough damage to win.
