you dont need to scan them(WPM already has all the scans just hasnt put them up) and i think this is the wrong forum
I want to scan my own though. Not for Pokebeach at all.

DPI is DOTS PER INCH. I guess that title is self explanatory. I am not sure if DPI refers to a physical inch or a square inch. The more DPI, the larger the image. I think you just have a junky scanner. I've had some pretty bad scanners in the past.
