Top tier decks after ND

What do you guys think are going to be the top tier decks after we get Next Destinies? This is what I can think of so far:

Tier 1:
Tornadus/Celebi/Shaymin EX/Mewtwo EX
EelZone
ZekEel
ReshiBoar EX

Tier 2:
ReshiPhlosion
Durant
The Truth
6 Corners
CaKE

Opinions or additions?

I believe it will look more like:

Tier 1 (in order)-
6 Corners
Eelzone
Durant
Eelektrik/Zekrom/Mewtwo

Tier 1.5-
Mewtwo/Celebi/Shaymin/Tornadus
maybe ZPST

And that's it. Or that's how I'm hoping it will shape up anyway, minus Durant. All of the listed decks except Durant are generally fairly complicated to play (for this format) and matches aren't decided until late-game.

I really hope ZPST goes down in flames. :)

Magneboar should really be at least Tier 1.5, IMO Tier 1. I think I'm playing it for States, because of the hype surrounding EX's. Everyone wants to play them, and they will definitely see play, since they're good and new and exciting. It's arguably the best deck to beat EX's with, since it can use Lost Burn better than Magneels can. Also, it can use Reshiram, Zekrom and Mewtwo EX's. It really has a lot of options, giving it answers to most decks. It's main problems are speed, consistency and Catcher but they can be worked around.

No CaKE? I thought the whole reason it was successful in Japan was because of its ability to take on Mewtwos and win?

I take it KyuremGatr is Tier 3 then? One of my friends told me that it's good enough to be either Tier 1 or 2. I have been thinking of tearing KyuremGatr apart to run EelZone so what do you guys think? Is KyuremGatr that terrible of a deck in this format? Despite Victini covering for Kyurem's Weakness and Gatr being weak to Virizion?

As for CaKE, I think the whole selling point of it is with Cobalion being able to counter Mewtwo EX with Eviolite, Special Metal, and Psychic Resistance early to mid game. While that's a good counter and all there's several ways to get around Cobalion with Victini
(V-Create), SEL, Reshiram, etc.

MagneBoar has difficulty beating Leaf Hurricane (Celebi/Tornadus/Mewtwo) cause of how fast it can setup before MagneBoar does and it just goes to show that the faster the deck the better your chances are in this format. If your deck is too slow or just has too many loose ends to counter easily it doesn't cut it.

were do you think mewgars gunna end up pluse i think hydreboar could be goo with this set coming up.

1. mewgar never really went any where. Decks are playing less pokemon lines now than ever, making hurl less effective.

2. Hydreboar could be interesting, but it is still out classed by other -boar decks

Here's my list:

Tier 1:

Durant
Celebi/Tornadus/Mewtwo
The Truth
EelZone (Thunderdome)
ChandyPlume

Tier 2:

Mewtwo/Gardevoir
6 Corners
CaKE
Donphan/Machamp/Landorus/Vileplume
KyuremGatr (without Vileplume)

Tier 3:

MagneBoar
PrimeTime
ZPST
Reshiphlosion

From my Japanese sources:

Tier 1 -
Zek/Eelz
6 Corners
Celebi/Tornadus/Mewtwo

Tier 1.5-
CaKE
ReshiPhlosion

Tier 2 -
Mewtwo/Gardy
Durant

Where does ZPST stand, I'm playing it for States, I think its tier 1-1.5 seeing how it can kill stuff quickly, wreck setup, and of course donk.

ZPST will be horrible, because it has bad recovery and EXs cant be OHKOed by at and return the KO(Regigias EX is Zekroms worst nightmare)

Leaf Hurricane donks like 60% of its games.... almost a guaranteed cut.

Nevermind, no Groudon = no good 6 corners.

Chandeplume with the EXes out? Donchamp and KyuremGatr becoming better when there are less things they can KO? That list makes almost no sense.

Anybody have any ideas as to where Reshiboar EX would fall? I would think that a consistent turn 3 and occasional turn 2 150 damage hurts decks a lot when its a 180 hp Eviolited Pokemon using it.

I can see maybe ChandyPlume if the emphasis is on the attack because Confusion w/ Trainer Lock could hurt EXs. And I also think Vanilluxe because they completely lock down EXs with Trainer Lock and versus EXs they can catch up on prizes fast.

Most certainly not. The only reason Chandeplume and Vanilluxe are good (more so the former) is because pretty much nothing OHKOs them, so they can often KO 2 Pokemon per Vanilluxe/Chandelure. With EXes hitting 150 easily, that removes any advantage you would have against them, so now you are forced to set up more stage 2s and, in Vanilluxe's case, and get lucky with more flips. It doesn't seem possible for that to work out.

I was offering Chandelure as a suggestion. I wasn't saying it WAS going to be good.
And by the time and EX with 170 HP dies from doing on average 40 a turn, thats 3 turns to set up a Stage 2 (4 if you don't go Frost Breath for the KO). And MewScoops as another posibility is alot faster than Vanilluxe, and it may not die because of an Unfezant tech.
