Goomba (Sableye)@ Leftovers
Trait: Mischievous Heart
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Def / 188 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt
- Night Shade

This guy is suprisingly bulky with the EV spread it has. Nothing is super-effective on it, as you should know. With Mischevous Heart it gets +1 priority on all non-damaging moves. So, it can effectively Taunt a lead without worry, and can Will-O-Wisp any Psysical Sweeper that comes its way. Things that set up against it are immediatly shot down by Taunt, and Recover gives the lil' guy amazing length of life. It has gone through entire teams exposing all of their Pokemon and burning all of them and inflicting a bit of damage with Night Shade too. I wouldn't trade this guy out for anything.

Shortsman (Lucario)@ Life Orb
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Vacuum Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Aura Sphere

My Special Sweeper, who has a Priority STAB attack, which, after a Nasty Plot, is actually extremely devastating. Shadow Ball is for Gengars mainly, but also Shandera if I happen to run into it. Aura Sphere decimates anything slower than him with below average to average defenses.

Red Steel (Scizor)@ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower

This is the main revenge killer of the team. It takes out pretty much anything that has under half HP remaining that isn't fire type, and even then he can U-Turn out with ease.

Pigmask (Mamoswine) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Icicle Drop
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Good ol' Mamoswine here is my Gliscor counter. I seemed to be running into A LOT of these and had no way around them, so I just took out Rankurusu since it didn't seem to be doing much. He also counters Zapdos well, and most dragons.

Dragonthing (Salamence)@ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 60 Atk / 196 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Earthquake
- Thunder Fang

Props to anyone who notices the Dragonthing reference. Basically, the stall breaker for the team. Can easily tear through entire teams with the mixed set, and hasn't really run into too many problems as of now. He also is no longer uber, which really made me seal the deal for a spot on the team with those stats. Thunder Fang is for waters who switch in to try an Ice Beam, and I don't like the accuracy on Fire Blast, so I went with Flamethrower instead. He's also my Blaziken check, in case I run into some.

sprite.php

Snazzy (Sazandora)@ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Surf

And finally, a special sweeper to round out the team. This guy rounds out any type coverage I've missed pretty well, but if he seems to lack awesomeness, I have a Gyarados to replace him. Or at least I will once I get to making the set. His 349 Special Attack is nothing to laugh at either, so I suspect that he'll stay on the team for a while.

Change Log: (Old/////Replacement)
Scizor- 252 HP, 4 Speed/////248 HP, 8 Speed
Scizor- Life Orb/////Choice Band

Just one quick small change, on Scizor's EV's run a HP 248 and Spe 8. I've found it to be much more useful. Just to let you know.

Also, and these are more of heads up, watch out for Eccentric Scarfed Ditto and the Musketeer Quadruple(?) [when Sazandora uses Dark Pulse, if these guys switch in they get a +1 Attack Boost from Dark type moves.]

You have a major weakness to things like Garchomp, Hydreigon, or Salamence with Dragon and Fire attacks. I would suggest you replace Lucario with Balloontran. Heatran resists both these types. Also, Sableye is honestly no very good. Try using Spiritomb, who is much more bulky and can attack too.

Replacing Lucario will only make him weak to Excadrill, which is even worse. TBH, it's weak enough as it is, I'm not sure Vacuum Wave will get an OHKO without a Nasty Plot boost in.

I would switch out one of your dragons, I really don't think you need both. You could use something that outspeeds the pokemon Chillarmy says your are weak to, like Starmie with Ice Beam, or a bulky ice beam user, like Suicune.

Um...
Outrage does way more than a super effective Thunder Fang, use it. Another suggestion is to use Choice Band on Scizor, versatility doesn't help it THAT much and U-Turn is a good combo with CB. Bullet Punch will start to do horrendous amounts of damage and it's not like you stay in with Scizor at all unless it's an SD set. Nice team, love the Mamoswine!

Crud, I completely forgot this was here ._. This is why I hate it when the forum layout changes.

Pertaining to Spiritomb, I have no idea how I should run one as a lead. Smogon has no article on 5th gen stuff, and I don't like using trick scarfers. I've read up on the movesets in the Pokemon Online log thingy, and I can't seem to find something that would be good. As stated before, I have no idea what I should be aiming for with a Spiritomb lead, so should I just mess aound and wait until I find something good?

On Scizor, I guess I'll change to a CB set instead of Life Orb, but I hate getting locked into moves. But what does the 4 more EVs in speed help with?

And finally, what could counter those dragons well, now that Exadrill is common? Balloontran won't work, as stated before. I'll be thinking about stuff. EDIT: Could Gyarados work?

Again, you really should change Thunder Fang to Outrage. Outrage does 180 damage to water types while a super effective Thunder Fang does like 130 or something. Outrage is just too good to pass up. As far as countering dragons, you are totally fine. With priority Bullet Punch and Ice Shard they will be out quick.

Mah, I think Balloontran can counter Dory. Switch in on EQ or SD, and Fire Blast as he pops your balloon or switches.

Eww. Once they figure in you're swapping in heatran, they just Rock Slide you on the switch, and then use Earthquake. They don't even need sand to outspeed you then either. Balloontran =/= Excadrill counter.

Also, hatman, yes, Doryuuzu really is that common. And no, gyarados won't work. Excadrill will just use Rock Slide, I think, before Gyarados gets the chance to do much. It should probably be a bulky water, like Vappy or Suicune.

Scizor is pretty decent with Doryzuu, it can get rid of it with BP half the time, and I think it can survive an attack and use Superpower.

I suggest replacing Sazandora with Multi-Scale DNite as he's bulkier overall, I suggest:
Dragonite@Adamant nature and Leftovers
Trait:Multi-Scale
EVs:4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
~ Outrage
~ Fire Punch
~ Dragon Dance
~ Earthquake

The nature and everything is necessary for killing Steel types (Nattorei, Skarmory, and Forry). And just generally gaurantees a free Dragon Dance.
And @ Chillarmy "Sableye isn't that good"? GT*O, Mischievous Heart Sableye is very good and can cause problems to many teams unprepared, and Spiritomb isn't all that good this gen. :/
Hatman, Smogon does have movesets etc. for 5th Gen Pokemon http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80176
TPO3, Gyara can work, as Intimidate will help lower Dory's attack (Unless it's SD)
