THE STEELERS WIN! THE STEELERS WIN!

Professional sports as a whole are a cess pool for poor and often times hippocritical values. It provides terrible "role models" to those foolish enough to look up to such an athlete, and as was proven by Phelps lately, just because we don't know about it doesn't mean they aren't screwing up.

EDIT: Oh, and Bruce's halftime show hurt my ears. He was bad enough when he could pause between words rather than "oooohhhhilikethefozsehnstreetletsgowalk ingdownthestreet". Ugh.
So whose a good role model? News flash: Everything is corrupt. Human nature is to corrupt.

Bruce Springsting is an awesome singer but I wish the Cardinals had won because 3 years ago the Steeler cheated against the Seattle Seahaks. It was on our news for about 2 weeks before they finally quit talking about it. After seeing what the Steelers did 3 years ago I had wished the Cardinals had won. However it was a legit win this year and it was a close game though.:)

Bruce Springsteen made an amazing performance. I loved it! Better than the game itself :p

How can you possibly Bruce more that what was possibly one of the best super bowls in HISTORY? Fitting that the super bowl was close because it was the 50th anniversary of the Greatest Game Ever Played.

Good point. I wish I could have saw him in action though.:)

I wanted the Cardinals to win because the Steelers already had 5 wins in the first place. =(

Also no words describe what I think of PETA. >:O how the (Bad word) can they show a dirty commercial to the people watching the Super Bowl in Arizona? There were little kids watching it. Shows how far PETA would go. I wish they get sent to prison.

It is meant for adults because the hardcore ball watchers watch the game and drink beer and tank up on snacks. I get your point though. There are some ads they can do without showing them on TV.:)

Usually the Super Bowl is like something the family watch together. *cough* Most families do have kids *cough*. They just want to get people to follow them but they don't care if young people get swallowed into their little fight.

The Super Bowl is mainly for showing off their ads anyway.LOL.:)

I think that there are three different reactions to what PETA did:
1. Don't care
2. LMAO
3. Anger

Most adults were angry while little kids don't care. Teens thought it was just another funny comercial. All PETA wanted was the publicity.

Also I heard from a couple of friends that there was something "weird" that happened at the end of the SuperBowl on Comcast...

I heard about that happening also, thats just aquard...

And that commercial I just saw it, is just messed up...

Lol, I'm glad it was only on regular televisons, not HDTVs. I would've probably turned it off if I had seen that p0rn on there. :F

dmaster out.

YA BABY!

I am from Pittsburgh, born and raised, and I got to say this was one of the best games I've watched in a awhile and considering it was the super bowl it just made it that much better to win! The best part about the game, in my opinion, was the fact that it wasn't a predictable game whatsoever. Except for maybe in the beginning, there wasn't a moment that I or anyone else could really say, "well this game is sealed, the BLANK definately won this game."

I'm stoked about the win, I haven't read through the whole thread yet, but are there any other Pittsburghers out there? Now all we need is for the Pens to start pickin' it up and were golden!

^I'm from Leechburg, and after I moved I was a stone throw away from Beaver Stadium. I hope that the Nittany Lions pick up too.

I have to disagree. I said that Pittsuburg had the game sealed before the SuperBowl even started. IMO The Cardinals really weren't SuperBowl material.
