Ruling The effect of Golurk AOR's "Double Type" on Xerneas BKT's "Rainbow Force."

Golurk's "Double Type" ability reads, "As long as this Pokemon is in play, it is (P) and (F) type."

Xerneas' "Rainbow Force" reads, "This attack does 30 more damage for each different type of Pokemon on your bench."

If I have a Golurk on my bench and I declare "Rainbow Force" with my active Xerneas will it count both of Golurk's types and do 60 more damage?

Yes, the damage is boosted. Xerneas' attack doesn't specify the types must belong to different Pokémon, so Golurk contributes twice the damage a normal Pokémon would.

Indeed! Just bench a Dragon-type and another Fairy-type and you're maxed out!

And that's also one of the reasons I appreciate that Unlimited isn't sanctioned.
