Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen! G2F here to bring you something like you've never seen before! An official, Celadon Mart Competition! This is calling out ALL Shop Owners who have dedicated their free time to make banners for the members all across Pokebeach and further out.
Being in the Celadon Mart for a while, running shops from G2F Designz to my recent "SG2F Designz" alongside my Co-Partner Sonic Gal, I have seen MANY successful shops popping up and decided on starting something that will reward all Shop Owners for their time and dedication to making artwork for their customers. I think this will be a fun and enjoyable experience for all the Shops in the Celadon Mart. Here's how it will go down:
Basic Rules/Regulations:
1) Monthly Competition:
This will be held on the first of every OTHER month, the first Competition being held on Feb. 1st 2009. Seeing as 1 week will be for the round, and another week for voting, it will take 2 months to finish 1 Competition. I'm hoping it will be successful enough that it will be a traditional Comepetition, but it will only last as long as it still remains popular. Meaning if it doesn't do well for the month of Feb. it'll stop. The competition WILL start on the 1st, so anyone who does not sign up in time will not be able to compete. I will announce the competition a week before the 1st of every month, and everyone has 1 week to sign themselves up. Anything after that is not allowed. The Competition might have to be flexible and work around times, so further down the line, the Competition might get off track, so it will get fixed when brought upon.
2) Competitors:
ONLY Shop Owners who have had their shop open BEFORE I posted this thread may sign up. Everytime a Shop Owner signs up, I will check your shop for your start date. If it was anytime after I posted this competition, you will not be accepted. Now, every shop owner is allowed at least ONE employee to enter with them. Many shops have multiple Employees but you can only choose 1. This allows for 2 Competitors each shop. If you don't have any employees, that is fine, you may sign up Solo. PLEASE, ONLY Employees. Don't go grabbing some random artist on PB and pretend they work for you, just so they can join. I might ask for a quote on their post when they applied at your shop. This will help if you are unable to meet the challenge or if you won't be present at the time of the challenge. You have a backup person to represent for you. And of course you can both work on the challenge together. Seeing as each round will be a different thread, and each thread can only have a Maximum of 20, then 20 competitors will be the maximum amount. First come first serve.
3) Rounds:
This Competition will have 4 Rounds, with 1 Round each week. Each week is a different challange. Late entries NOT accepted unless with a believable excuse. After that, you have 3 extra days to finish. I won't tolerate a lot of late entries, as it is too much of a hassle. If you fail to get in a piece of work within that week, it is an automatic ZERO. You have a week to turn something in, that is more than enough time for 2 People to work on 1 piece of artwork. I understand that you have a shop to run, which is why you are in this competition, but if you sign up it is your responsibility that you know you will have enough time to be able to balance both.
4) The Challenges
This is where YOU, the Members of Pokebeach can also help out. I want YOU to PM me a Request that you would give a shop. The Form will be below. Fill out that form and PM me with the title being "C.M.C Challenge Request". I will take the best request and that will be the Challenge for Round 1, 2, 3, 4 and so forth. The Point is to see which shop is most creative/original on their customers piece. I will announce when I am taking Requests for the shop. Here are the forms:

This will go for the first few rounds. The VERY LAST Round will be a surprise Round, so nothing is expected until that Challenge starts. Requests will be taken the same time when voting has begun to save time, and will be ready when voting week is over. And YES, you can keep any of the banners we make if your request is chosen to be the Challenge.
5) Voting:
Judges will NOT be Hand Picked. The Judges for this competition will be, ANY and ALL the Members of Pokebeach. We are shops making work for THEM, it's time to let them vote on their favorites. A Poll will be Posted and Members have 1 week to submit their vote. Anything after that, will not be allowed. Votes will be counted off and the winner of the Round will be announced. Each Round will be in a different thread, allowing for a different Pole. Seeing as I myself will be in this Competition, this will assure all other Competitors that there is no cheating going on with the votes. The Poll will be Public to everyone to see who is in the lead. NO VOTING FOR YOURSELF. This also means, that votes from your employees will not count either. I will allow the poll to show who voted for who, and if you vote for yourself, that vote will not count.
6) Prizes:
A Prize Trophy (Made by yours Truly) will be given to the winning Shop at the end of the Competition. Their Shop name will be on it, and they can put it up in their Shop to show off if they want too. The winner of the most rounds will be declared the winner of the Competition.

[Proof of Hire] This is where I want you to Prove that your Employee has been working with you in your shop and not just somebody you picked up. It can be a quote from their Application with a date on it, or if they have a gallery of the work they did in your shop, then that will suffice also.
