it was a good book but not as good as the Kain series hes also writing if i was giving it a rating it would be a solid 6.5 stars just that if you read the red pyramid first you would know it didn't stand up to what he did in that series in my oppieon.

I didnt read the Lost Hero yet. Right now for my reading class I have to read a book called "The Last Dragon" over break.

9.5: It's one of the best books i've ever read.

I hate to double-post, but I'm reading The Red Pyramid and I really enjoy it. I think The Lost Hero[u/] is better, but I recommend reading the red pyramid too. How do you guys think they pair up?

Well, Rick the author, is a big fan of all mythology, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did series of all sorts of things. Like Norse Mythology, Shinto, and Hindu.

He's already done Greek, (Lightning Theif), Roman (Lost Hero), and Egyptian, (Red Pyramid.) A Norse one might be coming :p. Anyway, I think that the Lost Hero and The Red Pyramid are tied at around 8.5.

If you count Narnia and Harry Potter as 10s, then that sounds right. I actually think that The Lost Hero beats Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban though.

I would take .5 off for Rowling's style in HP. Her writing is not the most descriptive, and is rather simple, unlike C.S. Lewis' writing.

I kinda get bored with JK Rowling. Her chapters seem so...simple.
