DPPt/HGSS the BAD things about HG/SS

I freakin love the G/S/C remakes, but some things are a bit disappointing. For one, I am on the 7th gym, and local trainers' pokemon are all still at like level 16! that is the same level I was on at the first gym!
Because of this, my pokemon get hardly any experience from trainers, and without a vs seeker, I cant really train. Im about to be at the elite four after a while, and my pokemon are in the low thirties!

also, the Platinum pokemon sprites are SOOOOO much better than the new HG/SS ones. They are horrible. (just look at mochoke differences)

and eeveelutions are probably the worst!

anything you are disappointed about?

Im not dissapointed with anything, I just wish you can choose to whether your pokemon walks with you or not. Its cool at first, but after a while it just gets annoying. :/

I agree with the level thing. It's terrible to train really well the pokemon, but I did it.
Another thing that don't like that much is the new game corner. Okay, the slots were making it a pseudo-gambling mini-game but it is more fun than the Voltorb Flip.
Well, I love so much the HGSS games that I don't get mad with these things.

Actually, there were 2 main things I was disappointed about HGSS:

1) NO VS SEEKER: This was the worst. VS Seeker was so good in Platinum for EV Training, and we lost it. Why take out such a handy item? They screwed up bad with this.

2) Move Pokémon: This was also screwed up. It feels a lot more stiff than it was on Platinum; it was so convenient back then. It's like they made it worse with the buttons to force you to use the Stylus (which is much better used now, but doesnt do wonders in this case).

Other than that, the games are excellent. No VS Seeker does suck a lot, tho.

The Game Corner, it was a backbone for the game. I hate this Voltorb Flip game. I wouldn't hated it as much if you were able to exchange Poke for coins, but you can't and you have to play this stupid piece of crap game.

Forget the Game Corner's games, they've ruined its music!

*rolls eyes sarcastically* Oh, no, nothing's wrong. These games are the best thing since sliced bread.

Actually, I don't mind not having the VS. Seeker because you actually can go back and battle trainers as much as you want by just calling them with the Pokegear's cell-phone as opposed to it being pretty much all up to chance with the other thing. The only problem I had with it, though, is that you can't do that until like after the seventh gym or so. I mean, good grief... Even Crystal made it so that people would call you up for rematches right from the get-go, and would it have really been that hard to do at least that in these?

Also, the Game Corner was better before. Even in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, you could buy coins but they even cut that out...

Though, I can't complain about much more than that because, for those few faults, they've corrected all the mistakes I said they made with the other fourth gen games (I love how they've made almost full use of the touch-screen; save for like two or three of its Apps, the Poketch was pretty much useless).

I would've liked it better If you could catch Kyogre in SoulSilver instead of HeartGold. Really Groudon while it's a good Pokemon for VGC Double Battles usually gets the short end of the stick against Rain Dance teams, ALWAYS...

No VS. Seeker was a major letdown but what really annoys me about HG/SS was that EV Training without the VS. Seeker has become ALOT harder. With the PokeGear you HAVE to wait to battle while VS. Seeker can be anytime you want.

They cut a few of the Stat Reducing Berries that helps with EV Training in HGSS and with the exclusion of the Berry Master or a store that sells Stat Reducing Berries Game Freak made it a whole lot worse. You still have to rely on Platinum to train really strong Pokemon for Competitive Wi-Fi Battles.

Hopefully Black and White makes up for these flaws...

yeeeeeah but at least they kept kanto.
but the low level thing is really getting on my nerves. The gym leaders pokemon are only like three levels apart from gym to gym (in johto)

The things I don't like are the way you get to rematch the gym leaders and the fact that you can't save the game when in Safari Zone.

Honestly rematching gym leaders is like one of the best things about the remakes in my opinion. Also, saving in the safarizone is pointless. Why would you want to do that anyways. (I hate safari zones in all regions and generations anyways)

1st, I didn't say I didn't like rematching Gym Leaders dah, I said I don't like all the things you have to do to rematch them like having to get their number and then call in a specific time etc...

2nd, when you play the game in the computer and the rom is constantly crashing, you have to save the game every 5 minutes...

*face plant* Pure fail thing said right here...

What I hate about them is the fact that there's too many legendaries in here, exclude Zapdos/Moltres/Articuno please, I already have like three of each.

And the fact that there's no Vs. Seeker, I had to xfer my Pokemon to my Platinum and train them :/

dude.... dont EVEN complain if you have a freakin rom file of the game. Thats messed up as it is.
yeah... I might have to trade over to platinum to train... (wish I had two DSs now)
and every pokemon game has too many legends (lol I LOVE lugia for pokeathelon though)

Rematching the gym leaders isn't as lame as you might think. It is a hassle to get their numbers in the first place (I consistently forget to get Erika's number) (I am doing it today), but you can fight them an infinite amount of times as long as you're within the timeframe. I just learned about this the other day, and it makes training my Pokemon sooooooo much easier (they'd all been hovering around the L60 range; soon as I get my hands on Brock, my Bellossom and Azumarill will be joining the rest of my team at L80), not to mention this is prime for raising Pokemon for Pokedex entries++.

Wow. Just wow.

And I agree about the level thing. I basically had to level up against the elite four which gets old fast.

what's the problem of playing with a rom? My parents aren't rich and I still don't work so I can only play the games by using roms...

well besides it being illegal, you arent buying the game (which supports nintendo) and its not even fun without it being on a DS. you cant even battle or trade

Nintendo won't go bankrupt just because I can't buy a game and I don't really care if its illegal. As for battling or trading, yeah, that's the worst part of playing with a rom but like I said, I don't have money to buy the games. If I had, I would buy them but I can't. And just because I can't buy the game, doesn't mean I don't have the right to play it.
