Team SonicBoom is a Pokebeach clan that discusses EVERYTHING to do with the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Discussion will include the video games, anime, comics, gaming systems, future games, and everything else to do with the Sonic the Hedgehog series!

What is your favourite Sonic video game and why?​

I have to say my favourite is Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. It has a really good storyline, playing as both the good guys AND the bad guys, the epic Chao garden, fairly good multiplayer, kart racing, and around 12 different characters. A great game overall!
 
I am nifty.

My favorite Sonic game is Sonic Adventure 2, because it's fun, has lots of replay value, and also has one of the best plots in a platformer ever (and certainly the best plot in the series). And also an awesome soundtrack.

A close second is Sonic 3 & Knuckles, for being just plain fun. Except Sandopolis Act 2. Screw Sandopolis.
 
My favorite Sonic game has to be... Sonic and the Black Knight because there is a lot of interactment with all of the characters and because it has great artwork and graphics.
 
Welcome to crystaltheumbreon, our newest member! What do you guys think of Sonic Unleashed? I personally think the graphics are good and the storyline is great too.
 
Sonic Unleashed is half good and half...not. The day stages are excellent and the soundtrack and graphics are top-notch, but the night stages suffer from poor physics and repetitive gameplay, the voice acting is awful and the storyline is boring and cliché. Colors was a definite improvement; it took all the things I mentioned under what was good, expanded on them, and made everything else better (better voice acting, humorous dialogue, et cetera).
 
Sonic Unleashed wasn't to bad. The timing on the controls were somewhat off and the game was fairly easy. I enjoyed it but its just a little irritating at times.
 
I like Sonic Unleashed. the graphics are good, the storyline is great, the day stages are fast and fun like they should, and the werehog stages are uniqe and pretty fun. The only thing that bothers me is that some of the stages were difficult and frustrating such as the Chun-nun night stages with the water (Don't ask why i think it was hard. I'm not a very experienced player =P).
 
Yeah... the werehog levels are kind of repetitive.... and the English voices actors were horrible. I loved the day stages, but the night stages were too easy for me or the controls made them too...well, not hard, more like stupid.
 
The werehog stages are a bit of a turn off, true enough.Even the smallest mistake and I'm dead.

Might I also point out how long and dragged out some stages can be?Adabat was frustrating and difficult.The day stage variant of Adabat was thrilling but even more frustrating.
 
I know you guys already answered this in your Applications, but I'll amke it a discussion topic for the "good of the public":

What is your favourite Sonic character(s) and why?​

My favourite character(s) are Cream and Cheese the Chao. Cream is so loyal and energetic, and defends Cheese like he was her younger brother. Cheese reflects his owner's character, being loyal to her and her friends. And, seriously, A rabbit that fly with her ears?! C'mon, if that's not cool I don't know what is.

Miles Prower comes in a close second. I guess I'm a softie for flying characters... I love Miles' loyalty and respect towards Sonic. And his knack for inventions is also cool, especially the Tornado (I LOVE the Tornado levels in Sonic Unleashed).

My favorite Character is without doubt Silver.Why?,when Sonic the Hedgehog was announced in 2005/2006 and the announcement of a new Hedgehog to arrive arose, I was excited right away.There were only Three Hedgehog's at that time (Amy,Shadow,Sonic) and ever since Sonic Heroes I yearned for another.

Thus Silver was born!Silver is just a full Package of fun,He charms you with his personality.That personality easily makes him one the most Love able Characters to have ever graced a sonic title.(Besides Cream and Tails.)I just like Silver for what he is,even if he is somewhat clumsy.

That's why I like Silver :D
 
I think Shadow is my favorite, now that I think more about it. He has a mysterious past in Shadow the Hedgehog and he has some cool abilities.

Who is your favorite Sonic Character?

That's a toughie. I love a whole bunch of characters.

1) ??? "Sonic" Maurice Hedgehog is one of my favorites because I admire his way past coolness, his bravery, and his speed.

2)Rob o The Hedge is another favorite. He is a character from the comics and is the cousin of Amy. He is cool because of his eyes, his Robin Hoodieness, and his bow and arrow skills.

3) Chao in general are cute, cuddly creatures that I love to take care of in SA2B, although the coolest one of them, would have to be the mutated one known as Chaos!

4) Shadow is a very unique character because of his painful past, and the fact he runs on his air shoes like rollerblades.

5) Metal Sonic is just downright cool

6) Ixis Naugus, the evil wizard from the old TV show and the comics.He was created-or should I say was the result of 3 Order of Ixis members going into the sun together. Naugus is creepy and can harness the power of fire, water, air, and earth. It doesn't get any better than that!

My favorite game would have to be SA2B, because of the great story, fun gameplay, and of course THE CHAO GARDEN!

Thanks for the welcome buddy ol pal! So yeah, I love Sonic! I have 14 games, all the available comics, some plushies. Right now I am working on a picture of Sonic battling Ixis Naugus for the legit Sonic Versus Contest for the comics.
