yeah they really resemble each other. And they r also secondary atkers in the D/P starter decks

Just a few questions:
1. Is Lucario's displayed move the same one as in the movie, that is "Wave-Guiding Bomb?"
2. What move was the flower Pokemon using? Solarbeam?
3. WHY DIDN'T THE ELECTRIC LION ATTACK???
 
Battle between Pearl and Mondo (player vs player, it seems). They include the owner's names before the pokemon, but I'll exclude those.

Pearl: Lucario, Cherimu (both Lv50)
Mondo: Rentaro Lv50

Lucario uses Hadou (hits)
Cherimu uses Solarbeam

Rentaro uses Kaminari no Kiba (Lightning Fang)
But Rentaro's attack failed

The sunlight is strong

Lucario uses Luster Cannon
"Kouga wa ima hitotsu no you da" (Kouga tte nani, dareka oshiete)
Cherimu uses Solarbeam
"Kyuusho ni atatta" (guessing critical hit?)

Rentaro fainted

Pearl: (txt too small)
Mondo: (still too small)

Pearl is the WINNER

Dunno what the hell 'kouga' and 'kyuusho' means. The end text between the two trainers is too small to be read.

Wow, thanks for the translation! At least now I know that the lion did attack, it just failed/missed...
