Sudden Death

Well I remember a few formats ago when Vilegar sent almost every deck to sudden death. And I was thinking... When was the last time I actually went to sudden death since then! And today, bam it happened!

I was battling a dusknoir varient with my Tornadus and friends deck. The match was tied with two prizes remaining for both players we both had Landorus active with 170 damage on them both, but he had a Rocky Helmet and it was my turn with one energy. My only option. after attempting to get a catcher, was to kill him and sacrifice myself and go to sudden death. So I did. I soon discovered that sudden death is very easy to win or lose in this format. I won the coin toss and had Tornadus active against his Landorus. I had a DCE, Virbank, and N, and others. I set my attack up, and used N then to realize I only get one card! But so does he. I felt so smart! I wasted his whole hand and gave him 1 card! He could do nothing and I eventually killed it after he drew into a supporter, N, which did not help him.

I guess N ruins sudden death in this format. Has anyone else noticed this? And when was the last time you went to sudden Death?

What a coincidence that someone brought up sudden death! I and my friends aren't really into the Pokemon meta ('low budget', we don't buy that many cards), and I just happened to play a sudden death match today: 10 hp donphan (PS) against a 100 hp (caped) electrode (SW, with radiance or something). I know this isn't very interesting to many people, but that's just my two cents.
Also, I would agree that N ruins sudden death. One of the best supporters I've seen in a long time.
