Ruling Spiritomb Question

I know it does not allow anyone to play any trainers. Question is, some supporter cards actually say Trainer on them. So are these included in the list of cards that cannot be played while Spiritomb is active? Thanks for the help

Supporter cards do not count as trainer cards no matter what they say on them.

Before Diamond & Pearl was released, Supporters and Stadiums were a subclass of trainers. After it was released, they became three separate classes.

Anything after DP that refers to Trainers refers only to basic trainers. Anything before then that refers to trainers will also include Supporters and Stadiums.

Spiritomb lies in the 'after' category, so it only blocks Trainers (not Supporters or Stadiums).
