Ruling Special energy cards

Can I have more than 4 special energy cards in my deck?

If yes or no, could you please explain why?

No. There is a 4 card limit to Special Energy cards per deck. This is the ruling because the only cards that can exceed the 4 card limit is basic energy, and they're not basic energy cards.

The 4 card limit is for each specific card name. So you are allowed to have 4 Dark energy, 4 Metal energy, and 4 Dark Metal energy in a deck. Since they are not classified as 'Basic energy' they have the 4 card limit on each of them.
