@ Mew guy: How? By using Photoshop CS3. Just find many resources such as brushes, patterns, fonts, and C4Ds and make something with them. Read a truck load of tutorials over and over again and you'll get the hang of PS in about a month. I've been using PS for 3_1/2 years to this month. Just practice and you'll improve with every passing day! ;)

Yes, Photoshop cost money. but you can get a free 30-day trial though.

No you pay it at once. At least I did.

Photoshop CS3 alone costs $199-$699. Since CS4 is out, you can get CS3 cheaper.

I'm not sure if you can pay a fixed amount a month.

Its not cheap, trust me. Again, that is why there are free trials to use in the meantime. Photoshop is a professional art program, its never going to be really cheap.

CS4 isn't THAT much better. It contains more features that's all.

If I were you, I would go for CS2. It works just as well as CS3 and you get that for as little as $50 on eBay.
