Discussion Smash 6's new pokemon

Should smash 6 have Sword and Shield, Scarlet and Violet, Legends Arceus, or Legends Z-A starter pokemon

I'm personally rooting for Feraligator, Inteleon, or Scorbunny

If it's a Gen 9 Pokemon, probably Ceruledge. Most popular Gen 9 mon aside from maybe Meowscarada (Starter picks are boring, IMO)

Yeah, what you're saying makes sense. All the Pokemon in Smash are popular (Pikachu most of all) , but my thought process was about Incineroar and how he was one of the three newest starters ( sword and shield wasn't out yet) and they picked him to go into Smash.

I completely agree — out of all the Pokémon that appear in Smash, Pikachu is still my favorite character because he's both cute and powerful, truly an irreplaceable icon!

Smash 6 should mix it up and include starters from all of those games—but if they had to pick, Legends Z-A starters would be the freshest and most hype. That said, Inteleon’s sniper theme would be perfect for long-range zoning, and Scorbunny could bring some crazy speed and combos. Feraligatr would be pure power—imagine a heavy brawler with bite-based throws!

Yes I love that Feraligatr idea, the only problem is that it doesn't have much move variation for the different attacks. I feel like it would only be bites and slashes for the attacks, and that would be disappointing.
