Discussion Sceptile-GX Expanded potential

It seems to me that Sceptile-GX counters a lot of popular Expanded decks, as it can hit the following for weakness and OHKO for only 2 energy:

-Wailord
-Keldeo
-Groudon
-Toad
-Greninja

The first attack also one-shots things like Bunnelby, night marchers and Sableye with a Muscle Band, and also gets rid of special energy in case of bulkier opponents that use DCE (Zoroark, Drampa,). Second attack kills a Marshadow with the Band. In addition, it can also tech in the Sceptile with the ancient trait that prevents the effects of trainers used against it, further enhancing its effectiveness against distruption decks. In comparison to Sceptile-EX, it has the advantage of not having to rely on the additional poison from laser/Ariados to hit bigger numbers.

Sceptile-GX is also relatively bulky and all of its attack are cheap and has only 1 retreat, however, even with the new Grovyle it might still be too slow. Also, Trevenant is not a good MU because Sceptile misses the OHKO just by 10 HP and Trevenant can devolve everything in the deck with Espeon-EX. Sylveon is also a pretty bad MU because of Sceptile's inability to OHKO it, (promo Lurantis is out of the question in Expanded imo as it slows the deck down and gives the opponent opportunity to stall) altough the ancient trait Sceptile might help with that one a bit, since Sylveon can't distrupt it.

What do you people think? Could Sceptile-GX establish a place for itself in the Expanded meta?
