Collecting Returning collecter advice

Hi im just getting back into Pokemon cards again after a couple of years break. Now Sword and Shield have launched should i start by collecting the base set that came out in Feb or am i best starting with Rebel Clash?

It's not too late to start collecting Sword & Shield. It's a cool set with Secret Zacian and Zamazenta (that have recently jumped up in price, heads up) and the boosters are readily available. The sets are huge but it's part of the fun. While I don't collect as much modern as others do, I think there's some swag in having the rarer stuff.
