• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

    When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

My friend is wanting to run something like this tomorrow for States. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The strategy is to get Raticate up T2 with DCE and Energy Switch from Sableye to OHKO everything in format with it's attack plus HTL. Darkrai is to provide free retreat and take the last few prizes if necessary.
 
If your running Raticate then why not put in Flygon for it`s ability? It`s strategic and deadly plus it would give you a decoy to keep Raticate and Sableye safe right?
 
Why would Flygon help? It has to be active for the ability to work and how is it strategic whatsoever? Decoy? People would take out the Rats first anyways.
 
I see what he's saying about Flygon, but a lot of decks run just one Max Potion and they could heal it off if they see a Flygon coming. It would also be a Stage 2 line in an otherwise consistent list.
