Why is ralts in so many of the recent sets? I like gardevoir and know people like playing with gardevoir. But why are there so many of them?

There aren't THAT many sets with Ralts. Look at it.

RS - Yes
SS - No
DR - No
TMTA - No
HL - No
FRLG - No
TRR - No
DX - No
EM - Yes
UF - No
DS - Yes
LM - No
HP - No
CG - No
DF - Yes
PK - Yes
DP - No
DP2 - No
DP3 - Yes

Now try that same thing for Pikachu. And do include the POP series as well. Ralts hasnt been in those.

Actually 7 cards is quite a lot compared to other pokemon. Also, there are 2 ralts cards in DF so that brings it up to 8. Of course there is a load of pikachu. They basically include pikachu because people recognise it and it brings more people in.

Lets move on to Charizard then shall we? It's been in PK, DF, CG and will be in DP3 as well. 6 sets, 4 appearances. Why whine over the moderate amount of Ralts when there are several pokes that are printed more often?

Just in this format there's 3 Gardy, and a Gallade coming up. There may even be a Gardy in DP3.

What about Flygon and Salamence though? They got themselves 3 EXs in the SAME format. Not to mention their regular delta versions, and Flygon also has a POP4 card. That's disappointing when the EX serues ends with making an EX already printed twice when some Pokemon weren't printed at all. T-Tar has 3 EXs, but not in the same format, and overloading so much in the same format (Throwing more options for techs and variants in a deck), especially playable cards, makes it look like the company isn't being that open minded anymore.
