Ruling Rainbow's Provide React Energy?

Can a rainbow energy provide a react energy, it states that rainbow provides "EVERY" type of energy but only provide energy and that's it. If I had it provide a react would it not be exactly the same as the effect of a react and provide 1 colorless but i could use it as in react in a pokemon attack effect?

I think 'type' here are basic energy plus Dark and Metal...

any other Special Energy doesn't count there...

I dont think it can. Rainbow energy can be any TYPE, meaning fire, water, lightning etc. It doesn't mean, it can mimic any energy card. If it could I think you'd find that dark pokemon w/dark energies or steel pokemon w/metal energy would be unstoppable.

Yup. Rainbow energy/DRE only provides Type. It does not provide Energy card effects, like Smeargle said, Dark, Metal, React effects cannot be used. Even though React doesnt have an "effect" to it, it is simply a colourless energy which allows pokemon to use their effects when it is attached to them.

No. Only React energy provides React energy, nothing else can copy it.

It's like that a rainbow or multi energy can't act as a boost energy.

You can copy the type, but that's just colourless

Types in the TCG are
Colourless, Water, Fire, Lightning, Psychic, Fighting, Grass, Dark and Metal.
