Question about VGC 2012

I'm to sure if this is the right place to ask, but could someone help me please?

According to the rules for the official Pokemon VGC, Pokemon may only use hidden abilities that have already been released. However, quite a few hidden abilities have been released in Japan and nowhere else. Are these Abilities allowed at VGC Regional Championships in the U.S.?

Yes they are - provided they were obtained legitimately. (I think the only ones we haven't gotten yet are the starters iirc...)
