Can you use older cards (from the EX, Diamond and Pearl, Platinum series) for tournaments in the HG/SS series? Because i thought, you have to go with the current series (in this case, HG/SS)
The oldest set you can use cards from is DP Majestic Dawn, or the black star promo DP22. Anything that is from that set, or newer, is legal to use in a tournament. You cannot use cards from older sets unless they have been reprinted in current ones (e.g. Defender, Rare Candy).
