Question about the new metagame

Hi there,

I have been out of pokemon for a few months and now my tests etc are over I can start again. I was wondering if some of you folks could give me a little insight on the tournament winning decks out there so I know what to expect. Also if you could tell me what they consist of that would be brilliant.

When you say decks being used machamp, dusknoir etc are not being used commonly even though their topping?

Not quite, but clearly a lot more then machamp (ew). However, I'm sure he has the best winning percentage in terms of players using it vs. winning with it and maybe even % of 1st places if making top cut.
 
So someone used Roserade? Whoever that is gets a high five. I'm kinda sad that Kingdra is still so big. There are still a couple of weeks left and I have some predictions as to what will do well, Machamp will do better, and somebody has to win with Chu, eventually.
 
It's official. The metagame over at my side is filled with Gigas and T-Tar.

And there's still a nasty-good Empotech over there.
 
in my dfw area, at least 5 of the top 8 were dusknoir sf variants. there was 1 machamp/gengar that made the top 8.
the winning deck had dusknoir(dp,sf), azelf lvx, uxie lvx, cresselia lvx and deevoluter tech.
 
If you are using kingdra try this.

NO... That decklist doesn't work like Kingdra should. All you want is the T1 donl, other than that just something to fuel the discard, and Claydol+Uxie. Porygon Z isn't going to do anything
 
Here in Holland, Gengar, Machamp and Kingdra seem to be ruling the roost, with Dusknoir not far behind it. But thats just a few CC's in, theres a LOT left here.
