Castleanvia: Portrait of Ruin. There is another Castlevania game for DS, but I forget the name. It's about $20 and is a great side scroller, with plenty of enemies and bosses to fight.

Guitar Hero: On Tour. Awesome game, and has a surprisingly good songs.

I have Guitar Hero On tour. It is not as fun as playing it on the com.

Animal Crossing Wild World is a good game.
What kind of game is it? I heard of it.

Save your money for Chrono Trigger DS. Pure Awesomeness.
I'll check it out.

Its an old game, but Kirby Squeak Squad is a fun one.

Animal Crossing is also a fun game.
I have it. Its uber easy to beat.

First of all, get Elite Beat Agents. Then after beating it, do the other difficulties. If you've tried that and you don't like that, then try New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS, The World Ends with You, Tetris DS, Castlevania (Bothe versions), Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Final Fantasy (various titles), etc., etc.

dmaster out.
Thanks, I'll check them out on wiki.

Get Mario Party DS. This game could take a very long time unless you know what you are doing to get trophies. I ken what to do so I finished it in 32 days but you can DS wi-Fi your friends and you can have endless party fun with that game plus it has Tetris based minigames and 84 minigames to play. This is a pretty sweet game.:)
I tried it, but it doesn't appeal to me. Its a board game on DS.

Magical Starsign is a good game I found in a clearance bin I saw at a Toys R Us I went to earlier this week. It was selling for $10, I think, which would make it a great deal if you're just desiring a DS game without really caring what genre it is.

Not enough people have Sonic Rush or Sonic Rush Adventure though. They're very well-polished sidescrollers, among the fastest Sonic games ever made, and lend themselves very well to speed runs. I must warn you, however, that the stages in these games are meant more for getting fast records than playing them like a normal 2-D platformer, however. A lot of complaints about the game come from people misinterpreting them. In fact, Sonic Rush Adventure has a Wi-Fi connection feature where you can race other people or put your fastest times on the official leaderboards.
I'll check them out.

Thanks you guys. Hope to snag some soon :D

It is not all board game. There is Tetris base games also plus there is a muti mingame modre that has preset minigames to play and the record ones test your speed and accuracy.:)

RE: Good DS Games

getting Advance wars is a must (i've played the first one and it's amazing but i also wanna try the second one).
another good game is Contra 4. although i like the classic titles better they can be unlocked in Contra 4
getting a 'brain game' could also be a good choice like Big Brain Academy, Dr.something Minutes of trainning your Brain 1 or 2(sorry i forget the title), and i heard Professor Layton's Curious Village is also a fun game and can be hard.

RE: Good DS Games

FFTA2. The classic SRPG game. You haven't played a single game from that genre yet.

RE: Good DS Games

drawn to life is boring. pretty pointless
recommended by 4 out of 5 pikachu's: kirby squeak squad. old but fun!

RE: Good DS Games

I don't recommend the brain seies games because I know someone who has them but they are not very accurate. It has something to do with the DS response time or something. Thumbs way down for the brain games.:)

RE: Good DS Games

Absol has completed Squeak Squad already. That platform game is way too easy.

QFT again. It is majorly addictive, but I just highly recommend this game as a possible best of year DS game.

RE: Good DS Games

If you're still looking, Absol, try checking out "The World Ends With You" from Square-Enix. It's an RPG with some interesting features that not many other RPGs have (changing the difficulty AND your level on the fly, for example). This game took me completely by surprise, I beat it about a month ago and I can't stop playing it >_<.

Basic story goes like this. You take control of a 15-year old boy named Neku, who is more interested in what's playing on his headphones than other people. Socially, he interacts with no one, has no friends, and doesn't try to find any either. He's perfectly fine absorbed in his own little world with his own beliefs and ideals, and in his opinion, so should everyone else. One day though, he wakes up in the middle of the street. No one can hear him or see him. Then he receives a strange message on his phone telling him to get to a specific location or be killed. At first he laughs it off, but then things start attacking him. He makes a pact with another person to survive, and then learns that somehow he's been sucked into what is called "The Reaper's Game." What is the game exactly and how did he get in it? Neku will have to learn teamwork to get through it though, and that may prove to be his downfall.

The artwork and style of this game is just so different from other RPGs of today, because it's heavily influenced by graffiti. The music is also amazing as well (yeah, I actually bought the soundtrack for it...lawl). At first this game was hard to find but I believe Square is now producing the game normally.

You could get FF4 as well, but it's a port. Granted, it's an amazingly done port with dialogue and cutscenes, but if you've played FF4 before, it's most of the same. Same with Tactics Advance 2. I'm having a huge issue getting into that game because it's TOO much like Tactics Advance 1. Music remixes are abound, almost too many for my tastes, although I'm glad to hear a couple of the previous battle musics again. The judge system is even MORE lenient in this game than Advance 1.

Also, I concur about Pheonix Wright. Those games are wickedly addictive.

RE: Good DS Games

Hey, I don't really mind ports, as FF IV DS is the best version of it out there right now anyway. CG and Abilities made me buy the game, and those are new features. FF Tactics A2 might be a sequel that plays too similar like the original, but again, it's better because of it. i highly recommend TWEWY too; it's one of the best this year on the handheld. I too had trouble finding it.

dmaster out.

I check this thread weekly to see of more opinions :)

Tried The World Ends With You on a friend's DS. The game just doesn't appeal to me. Besides, I hate the main character's attitude. :p

Thanks for your time :)

Well, my dad's going to get me a Wii for my brithday present, so I am thinking of getting these following games:
PBR
Brawl
Super Mario Galaxy
Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess
Guitar Hero - World Tour

Does anyone know of more good Wii games worth the moolah($$$)? However, I do not intend to get FF games, Kart and GH3 (have on com)/GH Aerosmith.

i wouldnt buy PBR, it gets boring after a week, if not sooner.

"Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn" and "Super Paper Mario" are a good choice

GET WORLD TOUR!!! it is going to be REALLY awesome! I mean, same features as rock band, but custom songs!

Lol, I am not a guy who buys something without really wanting to buy it; I know that PBR is not worth the value but I think I would like it. I would check out Fire Emblem. Super Paper Mario was a game I thought of buying, but with Galaxy around, I thought it would be better to buy something different. Is there any awesome FPS games that utilises the Wii-mote well?
