I already expected it to be this way. When we saw him transform it didn't look like an evolution. Plus I think it was already confirmed to be a "form". Generally forms can be changed at any time if the requirements are met.

I believe it is a "forme". The fact the form is faster more than likely means its base Speed stat will be increased. Changes in stats means "forme".

Her transformation is indeed what seems to be a form, though that should be obvious at this point.
