    4x Huntail
    3x Keldeo EX
    2x Squirtle
    1x Wartortle
    2x Blastoise
    1x Suicune
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:27

  • 4x Dive Ball
    2x Great Ball
    2x Professors letter
    1x Rare Candy
    2x Lysandre
    2x Professor Birch's Observations
    4x Professor Juniper
    2x Skyla
    3x VS Seeker
    2x Float Stone
    1x Teammates
    1x Pokemon Center Lady
Energy:17

  • 14x Water Energy
    3x DCE

Strategy:

The idea is to have a huntail out, attacking for one energy while i gather energy onto blastoise/Keldeo EX making huntail more powerful, only using keldeo if i really need to. I know the trainer line is crap, but its all i had to throw together at the moment. The few runs ive had with it (PTCGO) the deck run sloppy due to inconsistent trainers. So suggest away please :) Its been a few years since have posted here and its strange seeing decklists with so many trainers and so few energies haha.

-4 Cheren
-4 Great Ball
-2 Professor's Letter

+2 N
+1-2 Sycamore
+1 Skyla
+2 Dive ball
+1 Energy Retrieval/Superior Energy Retrieval
+1 or 2 VS Seeker
+1 something more - it'll probably be Dowsing machine for me.

I'm tempted to say don't bother with DCE, then maybe add in a couple float stones so you can use Keldeo to switch out pokemon. Muscle band or silver bangle might be handy, too.

I plan on building this one to try it out. Looks fun!

Why bother with ultra ball or great ball? Everything is water so I think 4x Dive ball is a must.

This is true. I've adjusted my recommendations since it's embarrassing to have missed this. ;)

Thank you so much for the advice! I went ahead and took most of your advice and also traded switch for float stone! Allow me to aquire these cards and ill let you know how it works!

I think this deck has a lot of potential, but I'd cut off some keldeos and put some mewtwo EX instead, and some silver bangles too because +30 attack is awsome xD
my suggestion
- 1 Keldeo
- 1 lysandre
-1 water energy

+1 mewtwo EX
+2 silvr bangles

Bump

Been tweaking this for a while and its better than it was. But it has too many games where i have a slow start. And it takes longer than i want to get a blastoise out. I saw a deck on youtube use archies to get a T1 blastoise and that inspired me. What would i need to add or take out to make an archies work? Thanks!

For Archie (and Maxie) decks, I generally start with 3-4 Ultra ball, 4 VS Seeker (because you need to be ready to pitch your other supporters to pull this off, and it's nice to get them back), 2 battle compressor, and a Jirachi. Two copies of Archie. I've been using computer search, but dowsing machine might work about as well. A couple dive ball could help with an Archie deck, but I wouldn't cut ultra balls because you need them for trimming down your hand. Other cards that can help include maintenance, acro bike, and bicycle. Superior Energy Retrieval also discards, but it can be problematic because unlike Ultra Ball you can't use it to discard but NOT put something back into your hand. There's no deck build that guarantees T1/T2 Archie/Maxie but it's a fun challenge to pull it off.

Can you post a link to the T1 Archie deck?

I built one. Posted in the garage here, it's a few pages back. But I would really like to compare the you tube one to mine. See if they ended up in the same spot or has something I missed.

I personally haven't touched the deck for a while, I'm waiting for trading post to come out.
