Post Count

i've noticed that post count is no longer displayed under the avatar
this is distressing because it eliminates the goofy social hierarchy and post-count-status-anxiety that think is one of the funnest/ funniest parts of being on any forum
how will anyone know how active i was in 2009

You can find it by clicking on your name or the name of another member. It should come up with your avy and a few details including your post count.

i realize that the info is still available, i just miss the weight behind having it displayed with every post. i've noticed the badge system since posting this thread, i guess that the hierarchy and status anxiety are still here they're just more complex now.

Its not about the quantity of posts you have, but the quality.

We Will have the badge system come back soon, I personally believe that is a better way to encourage people to post quality posts over just post count ++ heck I only have ~500 posts

If I do remember correctly you can nominate others for badges that they deserve, some of which require high quality posts.
