Introduction

In the world of pokemon,there are many stories.Stories of heroes,villians,and legends.Stories of humans and pokemon working together.This is the story of Josh.He has turned 10 years old,meaning he gets to choose his first pokemon....

Chapter 1:To the lab!

*knock on door*
"Josh get up!"
"I'm up already mom!"
"Sorry,it's just that today's the day"
"I know!Why do you think I got up so early?I'm so excited!"
"Do you know what pokemon you're going to choose?"
"I.....no."
"Don't worry,I'm sure you'll you make your mind up."
*Josh and his mom sit down to eat breakfast*
It's just awsome that I'll be able to choose any starter from any region!"
"Yes,it' good that Proffesor Taro is able to raise so many pokemon"
*later that day*
"Bye mom!I'll be back with a new pokemon!"
"Good Luck!"
*thinking*"Man I can't belive I finaly get a pokemon!"
*Runs to lab*
*rams into someone*
"Hey!Look where your going!"
"Sorry!I'm here to get my pokemon."
"You won't last a second in a battle!I feel sorry for the pokemon who gets picked by you."
Josh:"....WHAT DO YOU KNOW ANYWAYS!!!GRR!WHAT"S YOUR NAME?!"
"Name's Wes,later.*walks away*
Josh:"Hey!GET BACK HERE!(wait until I get a pokemon,then we'll see who's sorry)
Prof. Taro:Are you here for your pokemon?
Josh:*calms down*"Yes!"

*inside the lab*
Pro.Taro:"And thats all you need to know about the all you need to know about the lab"
Josh:"Right so where are the pokemon!"
Prof.Taro:*sighs*"Just go down the hall to the first door."
Josh:"You're not going to come with me?"
Prof. Taro:"No,I have some research to do.But don't worry,there are other trainers in there that can help you."
*walks to the door*
"....tackle.....dodge"
Josh:"what the-"
*opens door*
Trainer:"Torchic use scratch!"
Trainer 2:"Piplup dodge and use tackle!"
Josh:"Cool!"
*Torchic faints*
Trainer 2:"Alright Piplup!"
Josh:"What's going on?"
Trainer 2:"We're trying out the pokemon before we pick it,but so for Piplup is my choice!"
Piplup:"Plup!"
Josh:"So what's your name?"
"My name is Kari."
Josh:"So where are the pokemon?"
Kari:"On that table."
Josh:I'll try out this one.
Kari:You can battle my friend Lewis.
Josh:Is he a new Trainer?
Kari:Yes.
Josh:O.K!I'll battle him!
*After a while*
Josh:"O.K,how does this work?"
Lewis:"....YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU DON"T KNOW HOW TO BATTLE!!!"
Josh:...well I ,uh,seen it on T.V,but I never battled before!"
Lewis:...just throw your pokeball,and tell it to attack or dodge."
Josh:"Right!Go,Pokeball!"
"Turtwig!"
Lewis:"Turtwing huh.Alright then!Go!Totodile!
Totodile:"Toto!"
Josh:Turtwing use...(what attacks does it know)..use..
Lewis:WATERGUN!
"Totodile!"
*Turtwig is hit*
Lewis:"Scratch!"
*hit again*
Josh:"This is going great....."
*1 minute later*
"Turtwing is unable to battle!"
Kari:"Maybe you sould try another pokemon."
Josh:"Yea,I'll do better next time"
"Mudkip is unable to battle!"
Josh:Third times the charm!"
"Cyndaquil is unable to battle!"
Josh:"..."
"Bulbasaur is unable to battle"
*quiet*
Trainer:You suck!

Wes:I already have my pokemon.Go! Torchic!
Josh:"...."
Wes:"Well,unlike you,I have to go off on my journey.Later."
Josh:*sighs*"How can Iget badges when I lose every battle."
*pokeball falls on Josh's lap*
Josh:"what the-"
*opens*
"Chimchar!"
Josh:"Cool,I Chimchar!"
Chimchar:Char!
*jumps up and down*
Josh:"You know,you seem a great pokemon!"
Chimchar:Chim!:D
*Fire blast out of Chimchar's mouth*
Josh:"...."
Kari:"Looks like Chimchar likes you."
Josh:"Yea,and that was a strong Ember!"!:)!Hey Chimchar,want to battle with me!
"Chimchar!"
Josh:*Great!*Hey Wes!"
Wes:"What do you want!"
Josh:"A pokemon battle!"
Wes:".....No way!I'll destroy you!"
Josh:"We'll see !Go Chimchar!
Wes:If you insist...Go! Torchic!I'll let you have first attack.It'll be your last....
Josh:!!!Chimchar Scratch!"
Wes:"Torchic dodge and the use tackle!"
Josh:Chimchar,Ember!
"Chimchar!"
*hits Torchic*
Wes:*that's one powerfull ember,better be carefull*

Josh:My Chimchar was able to turn Fire Spin and Tackle into a Flame Wheel,what do you think of that."
Wes:"Don't get the idea that this battle is over.Torchic!Use Peck followed by Fire Spin!
*Chimchar is hit*
Josh:"Chimchar,Ember!"
Wes:"Torchic,dodge it!"
*Torchic is hit*
Wes:"I will not lose to you!Peck!"
Josh:Ember!"
Wes:"Torchic if you lose this battle...!"
Josh:"Chimchar scratch!"
Wes:"Peck!"
*Chimchar is hit*
Wes:"Fire Spin!"
Josh:"Ember!"
*explosion*
*smoke surrounds the room*

Prof.Taro:"If you have choosen your pokemon,follow me."

Prof.Taro:"What I have here is a pokedex.It tells you many things about pokemon.Attacks,locations,and much more.You need this not only for catching pokemon,but also as you I.d and to register for the league.I have one for each of you.
Lewis:"Sweet!"
Kari:"Awsome!"
Josh:"Nice!"
Wes:"I' guessing it's too late to pick another pokemon."
Prof.Taro:"Yes,I already made your Trainer cards:

Kari:"Can I come?"
Josh:"Sure,but why?"
Kari:"I just want to tag along for a while"
Josh:"*sarcastic*Sure you do."
Kari:"What's that suppost to mean!"
Josh:"Nothing."
Kari:"You don't think that I-"*blushes*
Josh:"Uh,no!That's not what I mean...."
Lewis:*singing*Kari and Josh sitting in a tree,K-I-S-"
Both:"SHUT UP"
Chimchar:*laughing*"Chimchar!"
Josh:"Thanks a lot Chimchar!"

Kari:"What is it?"
*flocks of bird pokemon fly all around them*

I know it was a short chapter.

Josh:"What do they want!"
Kari:"Ithink they got scared by something."
Lewis:"Maybe we're to close to thier homes!"
"Sorry!"
Josh:"Huh?"
"My names Lauren."
"And I'm Kadent."
Josh:"Again,huh?"
Kadent:"We were trying to catch pokemon,but we caused too much noise and scared all of them."
Josh:"Oh."
Kari:"It's getting dark,we should find a Pokemon Center."
*at the center*
Nurse Joy:We don't have enough rooms for all of you to have your own rooms;'
Lewis:"I'm sure Josh and Kari will want a room to share."
Josh and Kari:"WHAT!!!"
Joy:"O.K,Here are you keys."
Josh:"I......Hate.....you!"
Lewis::p*hums K-I-S-S-I-N-G*
*later that night*
Josh:"Well I returned the favor."
Lewis:"What?"
Josh:"Just go outside."
*outside*
Kadent:"So you want to battle me?"
Lewis:"Wha-"
Josh:"Ya,I told him about how you thought you were better than him and that you wanted to battle."
Lewis:"I....Hate ....You."
"So do I"
