I'm sure this has been asked before but what does SP mean?
This
Card for instance. Can I pick any 2 pokemon or is there a certain type? How do I tell the difference?
Goodbye, everyone. I'll miss you all.

SP technically stands for Special. They are Pokemon that belong to a certain trainer that exists in the Generation 4 video games. Take a look at this card here:
Floatzel GL
Notice at the bottom-left of the picture, you see the two letters 'SP'. This indicates that the Pokemon is a Pokemon-SP. There are other suffixes to names as well, such as
G (Galactic) ,
FB (Frontier Brain) ,
C (Champion) , and
"yon" (Japanese for 4 - for the Elite Four).
Also, the suffix is part of the name, so it's a different card. Therefore you can have up to 4 Floatzel and 4 Floatzel GL in a deck.
