What counts as a Pokemon SP? Are cards like Team Galactic's pokemons SP?
And can Pokemons from a spefecic team evolve into a normal Pokemon or does the Team name count as a part of their name?
 
All Pokemon SP will say SP on the card, I believe it is near the middle of the card that it will say SP Pokemon. SP Pokemon don't evolve, or at least there isn't evolutions for them at this time. A card would have to say evolves from Turtwig GL for example. Pokemon with an Owner in their name don't evovle into normal Pokemon because the official name of the card is different.~Mark

Here's a picture of Turtwig GL. See near the bottom-left of the photo? The letters 'SP' are there, and that indicates a Pokemon-SP. Pokemon-SP are Pokemon that belong to a certain trainer or group of trainers, and a suffix is affixed to the name to indicate as such; e.g. the suffix in this case is GL, standing for 'Gym Leader'.

Turtwig GL is NOT the same card as Turtwig; therefore you can have 4 of each in a deck.
Current suffixes for Pokemon-SP are G, GL, FB, C, and [4] (the Japanese numeral 'yon', which means 4).

And before it's asked, Beedrill G is not Beedrill either. Beedrill G is not compatible with Band Attack.
