ok im sure that this has been discussed before and most likely will be again but i never can seem to find things on past pgs and im not gonna be patient til someone else asks... soooo...

can someone give me the specfics of the pokerus virus? does it do anything harmful to the game itself? does it transfer to other Pokémon? and how did i get it??? lol i just talked to nurse joy 2 heal my Pokémon and she said something about the pokerus virus... [i wasnt really paying attention cuz she "always" says the same thing lol] so i looked thru my Pokémon and beside my Prinplup's lv it said PKrS!!
 
You get it from battling a wild Pokemon. Your other Pokemon get infected by just being around it. But it goes away every 24 hours (that's what it did in R/S/E...not sure about DP).

Basically it just doubles the EVs you get from when you battle wild Pokemon. I think that's it :/

does the entire PkRS fade or does it just fade from a particular Pokémon 24 hrs after it is infected? and again... is it harmful to the game???
 
Not harmful to the game, in fact it is AWESOME! It doubles the Effort Values, or EV's you get from beating other Pokemon. Infect it to a Pokemon you don't need to use often, then STORE it in your box immediately. It's extremely rare. Each wild Pokemon gives you some effort value points, which increase your stats slightly. There is a limit, though.
 
also after PKRS fades it is gone and cant be re infected, you can see a small little sad face near your pokemons pic
 
That's why D/P is so awsome i've had it for 5 days now because you just need to reset your DS clock before Midnight in the game. All my Pokemon are currently infected. It's so awsome. My Azelf got + 9 speed.
However after first lv up, it became almost normal stat changes. Am i doing something wrong?
