Ruling Pikachu Star/Shining Pikachu question

All right. I'm looking to get a Star Pikachu for a deck, but I am confused in a couple things:

1) does it count as a 'Pikachu' or is it a unique Pikachu (similar to Flying Pikachu) and I have can 4 regular Pikachus plus Star Pikachu. I am only confused because of the ruling on the Delta Pokémon as the 'delta' doesn't make a particular Pokémon 'unique' if that makes sense.

2) can Star Pikachu evolve into a regular Raichu? I know it sounds a bit silly. I just want to make sure.

Thanks in advance!

The star is indeed part of its name.

Delta Species isn't part of the Pokemon's name. It's just a type of card. That's why you can't double up on regular and Delta Species versions in the same deck. Notice that the Delta Species classification isn't found as a part of the Pokemon's name, but in a separate area on the card. This is unlike Owner's Pokemon, Pokemon-*, or Pokemon-ex that have the modifiers directly attached to the name.

So:

1. You can have 4 Pikachu and 1 Pikachu-* in the same deck.
2. Pikachu-* cannot evolve into Raichu because Raichu "Evolves from Pikachu" and Pikachu-* is not Pikachu, it's Pikachu-*.
