Guiding questions:
1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
5. How's the artwork?
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

All right, taking into account that I do not find this card to be of even any remote worth (for reasons which I shall explain), I'll rate the card as following.

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
For a basic Pokemon it is very average. That is all. There is nothing that stands out about the Pokemon's stats whatsoever.
2. Analyze the attacks of the card.
Yes, I know what you're thinking. Messenger is a pretty decent attack, letting you nab any Pokemon and return Pidgey to the deck so bench space is not wasted. But the problem is that...every time you want to use this attack, you must search out a Pidgey via Collector, and then retreat your other Active Pokemon just to bring this up. Then you have to bring up something that can actually take a hit. It's okay but it's not worth it. Glide is excluded in this review because obviously no one's going to use it.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Combo it with something with an Unown Q on it with already-low retreat (Smeargle can be an example, or maybe even Spiritomb, which might be preferred). Use Messenger, then bring up the tech which can take a hit. Spiritomb is of particular note because it invokes a trainer lock.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
A Spiritomb with a Q on it =D
5. How's the artwork?
It's boring me.
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
3/5. It's not terrible by any means, but it's not very good either. And the fact that you have to keep searching this card out and retreating your Active...means that the slots that this card got would be better used for other search cards or techs.

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
For a Basic, I'd say it's average. Weakness to lightning might hurt, but it probably won't matter because of it's attack, and the face that it can be OHKOed by pretty much anything.
2. Analyze the attacks of the card.
'Messenger might be useful, but as DNA mentioned, you will need to get it out with a collector, retreat your active, attach an energy and bring up something that you won't mind taking a hit. To much work for just one pokemon. Pokémon Communication is just as good. 'Glide' is worthless. 10 for 1C. Not exactly daunting.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Not many. Maybe Spiritomb with an Unown Q to at least hold a Trainer Lock, as DNA has also mentioned.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Not a lot. Maybe a Snowpoint Temple, but with only 70 HP, it can still be KOed by many popular cards in this metagame. (Dragon Rush anyone?) The combo DNA mentioned is also alright.
5. How's the artwork?
Nothing special. A pidgey, flying into the sky. Yipee.
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
Personally, 2.75/5. The attacks aren't that good, and it can easily be KOed if you bother to leave it Active for a turn without using 'Messenger'

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
At 50HP it's not as good as most other basics you usually see as starters. It's colourless type could be useful, since you won't need to tech in new basic energy to use it. It's lightning weakness isn't great, while it's fighting resistance (pretty much standard for flying pokemon) could have some slight benefit. It's retreat cost of 1 is slightly disappointing, but not terrible.

2. Analyze the attacks of the card.
Glide is your standard one energy for 10 damage which you see on most common cards. It could be used as a last resort to knock out a low hp pokemon but it's very unlikely someone will use this attack in a competative game.
Messenger is an interesting attack, which allows you to search for any pokemon in your deck, but you then have to shuffle Pidgey and all cards attached to it into your deck. While this could be useful for getting a much needed pokemon in your deck, you won't get a chance to play it until your next turn, you still need to use your energy for the turn to use this attack, which could slow you down just as much , and you must have at least one other pokemon on your bench. Overall, there are better alternatives for searching for pokemon (Bebe's Search, Pokemon Communicator, etc).

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
There's not really many combos that come to mind. If you did run a Pidgey, ideally you would want it as a starter and shuffle it into your deck. In the late game, it could be useful as Junk Arm Fodder if you want to reuse a trainer.

4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
There aren't a lot of things that can help Pidgey and even the most well known techs are useless. Expert Belt will only increase it's HP to 70 which can easily be one shot for 2 prizes. Exploud SV could remove the weakness but even then Luxray GL can still one shot it. Finally Unown Q can give it free retreat, but you probably want to start with it, use messenger and then never have it in play again.

5. How's the artwork?
It's er......not that exciting, but slightly better then it's Call of Legends reprint.

6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
I would give it 2.5/5. If you're going to a Call of Legends Prerelease any time soon, then any Pidgey you get might be useful there. Other then that, unless your running a deck with a Pidgeotto or Pidgeot in it, this card won't be that much help to you.

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
It's HP, and Retreart cost are avreage for a basic. It has a good Resistance for playing against Machamp. His weakness is just horrible considering all the Luxray out there.
2. Analyze the attacks of the card.
His first attack his okay. Being able to search out a pokemon is always a plus. Since he is a basic he could make a decent starter. It would be better if you didn't have to shuffle him in every time you attacked. Better if you shuffled him in with glide.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Something like Crobat G, Smeargle, with a Q or Spirtomb with a Q.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Same as 3.
5. How's the artwork?
Cool looking, just not very much action.
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
2/5. It's not good in most decks, but can be used in some rogue decks. Good for new players who don't have access to some better starters.
