why can't it be Flora & Fauna? It make much more sense than Girder

The Teams should be Flora(grass) & Fauna(Fighting)

That sounds cool. But if the leaders were the opposite gender, I have an idea! They could be divorsed! (just an idea)

Team Flora's leader isa girl named Laura.
 
How about girder and night? it's appropriate, and the two types have many similarities. or, how about do day and night, and you can make a light type, and that would be even better. but then again opal and amethyst don't have much to do with day and night.
