Santa Clara (Game Kastle) is on Oct 28 (Sunday) at 10 AM. Entry Fee is $30. There is going to be an afterdraft tourney for $20 but slots are limited.

Other venues are:
Oct 27: Cameron Park (Round Table Pizza) 11 AM
Nov 3: Concord (Black Diamond Games) 5 PM
Nov 3: Modesto (Krier's) 10 AM
Nov 3: Hollister (Straw Hat Pizza) 4 PM
Nov 3: Elk Grove (Round Table) 11 AM
Nov 4: Carmichael (Adventures in Comics&Games) 11 AM

San Bruno (Carl's Jr) PostRelease tourney is on Nov 10 (Saturday) at 11 AM.Entry fee is $25 (Yes folks it's twenty five bucks!). I encourage everyone to support the San Bruno event so we can convince Play! Pokemon to host future Cities and Battle Roads in the San Francisco/San Mateo County area.

I will be posting information for other venues as soon as they become available.

I'll see you at Santa Clara (and perhaps San Bruno).

Its supposed to be $30 or your PTO could get in trouble for not charging the $30 since that was mandidated by TPCi.

It's a postrelease tourney and its not an official or premiere prerelease event so the organizer can charge $25.

So it's 30 dollars but the packs are still the same?
I might not go now...

If you are only willing to shell-out $25 then there's the San Bruno postrelease to go to.

Updated the post to reflect other Prerelease venues. However no times were provided. I will add them as soon as they are available,

ah, Hollister is closer to me than Santa Clara, and since this set really isn't that good I'll probaly only go to Hollister.

Isn't it odd that, with the exception of San Bruno and Santa Clara, these tournaments are not listed on pokemon.com?

PTE Games somehow is at times slow in posting their events in the pokemon website. Just go to their website and you'll notice that the previous Prerelease and Cities tournaments had "???" under the date column. I guess if they have no competition whatsoever they can afford to be complacent in listing the dates. I got my info from one of the NorCal PTOs for PTE Games but the PTO didn't even know the exact times for the events but only had the date and venue.

Thanks. We have to miss Santa Clara (Halloween happenings) but will try for the following weekend, and will definitely be at San Bruno.

Today i went 2-3. Pulled Gold Potion and had a nice time. Best part was trading a Ho-oh for 4 DR packs and pulling a Ho-oh for 3 free packs :)

On PTE Games' website, it shows the Concord PR tomorrow (Sat) at 10am, but Black Diamond Games' website shows 5pm. Can anyone confirm the correct time?

BTW, I did call Black Diamond, and they said 5pm, but just wanted to confirm?

Thanks, I called Black Diamond 3x on Saturday just to make sure we weren't wasting an hour's drive.

Henry said that 5-6 people did wind up at the store that morning, so I wasn't the only confused soul. There were 2 juniors, 5 seniors, and 11 masters in Concord.

Also attended Carmichael's PR yesterday. James said that it was a lot more crowded (I would estimate 30 people?) than at the Elk Grove PR (he said 12 total) so not sure if the $30 is a factor.

Will be going to San Bruno on Saturday!

We were pretty lucky in our pulls - got Black Kyurem and Keldeo FA, the Terrakion and Rocky Helmet secret rares, computer search and a gold potion. (All of which go to Timmy, of course...)
