update: the option to request new stops/gyms has been removed.
So it's been about a week since release and Niantic has opened the option to submit new locations for gyms and stops. EDIT: Removal can be suggested as well, if a stop/gym is inappropriately placed.
Click here and under reason select how do I create a new poke gym/stop.
Be aware Niantic mostly picks landmarks and notable stores (ie: don't submit your house) and it's entirely up to them whether they accept your submission.
