Ruling Nidoqueen and Lost Zone

Nidoqueen's attack Ruthless Tail. Does this attack do 10 damage to each benched pokemon or does the number of benched pokemon add 10 to the overall attack to the active?

When a pokemon or card is sent to the lost zone... where do you actually put the card?

1)Each Pokemon your opponent has on the bench adds 10 damage to Ruthless Tail's damage.
2) As long as its separate from the Discard Pile it should be fine.~Mark

^The standard placing for the Lost Zone is right above the prizes, however. It is placed face-up, and its contents are public knowledge.
