Hey Pokebeach, this is a work in progress, but I ensure you it will be phenomenal when it's finished. Right now I have a LOT of ideas. This is a lot of work so the cards will come...slowly. Maybe 1-2 a day now that I got the technical stuff out of the way. I'll try my best to keep this thread updated.

I posted this set ( http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=30492 ) a while ago under a different name, but it only had a few cards and they weren't that great. I also held a vote and the majority of the people chose the name Phantom Heroes despite my wrong spelling (in the poll).

It's funny though, when I posted it MT had come out. But they copied two of my cards! VS Seeker and Luxury Ball, whatever. I switched those two cards and made a new list.

When I finally post all the cards I have a special surprise at the end !

Introducing the new set: Phantom Heroes!

The templates and most of the icons are the work of Cascadegonpory, great artist by the way. Every card I post will also include the name of the artist who did the original art of the card...all from DeviantArt.

Instead of ex or LV.X cards this new "block" has Phantom Heroes. They are uber basic Pokemon that can only be played when one of your Pokemon, that is the same type as the Phantom Hero, is knocked out. Name goes well, right? :D For example your playing a game and your active Ninetails gets knocked-out...now you can play Arcanine PH from your hand to the bench.

ALL PICTURES ARE THE PROPERTY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS. NONE OF THEM ARE MINE ! (I mean card pictures, like the Pokemon themselves) THEY'RE PEOPLE THAT WORKED HARD AND THE CREDIT DOES NOT BELONG TO ME...MOST OF THEM ARE dEVIANT aRTISTs...The cards are my work though.

I was also thinking of making special energy for the 6 regular kinds of energy (fire, water, grass, lightning, fighting, psychic).

Cards in red are completed.
It takes a little time to load, especially since they're ".png" files.

Nice cards, I love the PH Pokémon even if Magnezone PH is a little bit overpowered. Nice idea on the Timer Ball!
 
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH...no one was posting :( and I felt like it might have been terrible...I agree Magnezone is a little too uber...I might change that....THANK YOU ON THE PHANTOM COMPLIMENT AND THE TIMER BALL...it was supposed to be Luxury Ball because I wrote this list a while back, but they stole my idea, along with VS Seeker :p

Very good set! I especially like Timer ball.
@SSeeker: Maybe, as PH secret rares they should be uber? Steelix is the uber.
And Absol is defininetly underpowered. And -30 resistance is impossible. 60 hp get -10 resistance.
Not trying to mean or rude, andthis is truly a great set. Just helping out.

Yes PH Pokemon are secret rare, so I guess making them uber is okay. But, I think what SoulSeeker was trying to say is:compared to Arcanine, Magnezone is uber.

Steelix is awesome within the set, so I think it's ok :p

Sorry, resistance makes sense, I'll change that along with some things on Arcanine and re-post it when I post more cards...Absol is underpowered but it's been getting SO much attention lately I thought I should power it down.

QUESTION: Should PH Pokemon be Secret Rare or equivalent to LV.X/ex Pokemon ?
 
I think PH would be as rare as a Lv.X if they weren't basic. Buut since they are, I'd go with Secret Rare.
 
I am pleasantly surprised. I never expect much when viewing fakes from names I don't recognize.

The text looks a bit messy. Justify it so it's a lot neater.

Other than that, there are a few grammar errors I found, but other than that, it doesn't look too bad.
 
Although I did actually make a rule about threads such as these, the quality is so good that I'm going to ignore it. Nice job, this is how all fake sets should look like.

This attack does 20 damage times the number of damage counters on Primeape. Flip a coin. If tails, Primeape is now Confused.

I understand that some of the other threads allow and encourage people to reserve cards and make the spoilers but unfourtunetly, I have written out all of the spoilers already..what I need to do now is combine them with art, make sure the placement is right, and fix any errata errors. I apologize once again. Your Primeape is phenomenal, but I have already written one. I mean no disrespect.

It's your set, but wouldn't it make more sense if knocking out a Pokemon of the same name.

If your Arcanine gets KOed, Arcanine's phantom can take care of the rest.

I love your set, and its nice seeing some fake cards in a fake set. ^_^
