Ruling new rules with white&black release

Looking at the new rules coming with black and white. It says

# Trainer cards from Diamond & Pearl through Call of Legends should be considered Trainer—Item

# Supporter cards from Diamond & Pearl through Call of Legends should be considered Trainer—Supporter

# Stadium cards from Diamond & Pearl through Call of Legends should be considered Trainer—Stadium

so for example, if:
chatot g - " Search your deck for a Trainer card.....blah blah blah"

does this allow to search for a supporter? (ie. bebe, cyrus)?

No. You have only been able to search for a basic trainer card before (i.e. Trainer-Item), and that isn't going to change with the new B/W rules.

If a card printed between DP and CoL references a "Trainer card", it references Items only. It does not reference Supporters or Stadiums.
